Alternatives to River Pharmacy

Hi guys,

As you may have read in another post River Pharmacy has stopped selling Pentox / Trental. It's unclear whether this is permanent or temporary. In the UK the chances of getting a Pentox prescription are next to nill so this is quite a setback.

I thought I'd start this thread for people to list online shops where they've successfully purchased Pentox, as there's a lot of dubious outfits out there.

So to start us off: Mexmeds4you, as mentioned by Nemo in another thread. It seems they've developed a less than great reputation more recently though.

I went onto River's site to reorder Pentox and it says its no longer available. Does anybody know of any other source?

Just a heads up for everyone, Rayrx can not supply tental at the moment. After 4 weeks of waiting for an order I was informed they can not so don't bother.

This is a bummer. I know River's supply came from India, and I suspect most if not all the online suppliers would source it from the same place. (It was so many years ago, I can't remember where the MexMeds4You Trental came from, I'm sorry). But my guess is that if River can't get it, it's probably going to be the same story wherever you go online. Which means, unfortunately, a doctor's prescription may be the only way. But once you get that prescription, Trental/Pentox is dirt cheep in the US.

Pentox/Trental is available without prescription here in Spain, for those of you intending to visit here.

As Nemo has alluded to, it's pretty cheap too. About €6.50 for 60 tabs.

Hey man, so does this mean if I were to come over to Spain i could buy pentox in a pharmacy?
Like basically how much would I be able to buy some if I came over to Spain? Is there no way to get the pharmacies over there to send pentox over I doubt? Well anyone else fancy going to Spain?

Looking back through the forum I saw that some users in the past had successfully bought Pentox from European based online pharmacies.

I looked at a few and while they did seem to stock Pentox, they also required a prescription. I enquired with one which I knew from reading the web had sold without prescription in the past. They responded that changes in regulations meant they now required a prescription from all buyers. The English wasn't great so it was ambiguous whether it was a new international regulation, or rather an obligation to adhere to the regulations of the country to which they were selling.

So that's that. I suppose my wife and I will be off to Spain this year!

Try to make a search for Pentox/Trental India.
In any case most of the genetic Pentox is from there.
Including river pharmacy.

Alas, I think India is no longer an option.

I enquired to River Pharmacy and they alluded to a change in regulations in India which meant Pentox could no longer be exported. This would explain why so many online pharmacies no longer stock Pentox - they all got their supplies from India.

I'm sorry to say, I think the days of buying pentox without a prescription are behind us. I don't understand the big deal. It's considered to have a low side effect profile, lower than cialis for example.

Thanks guys for the info. I guess I am going to make a long shot and ask my GP if he will prescribe it for me. Going to the Uro to just get him to give a script is very expensive. Who knows I might just have to in the end.

Yup, they are gone and ended up running off with the money I gave them! After going back and forward about a refund, they disappeared, leaving me without the money:(
