Hi guys, I'll just get right down to brass tacks and say what has happened.

So, around 3 years ago is when symptoms began to appear. I had been trying to learn how to have multiple orgasms, and strengthening my pelvic floor muscles. I actually did learn how, but due to both a mean dry spell and an addictive personality, I was masturbating way too much. Eventually, it started to be painful, and when flaccid it was hard and tough, rather than soft. I also began feeling a pain at the base of my spine. I stupidly continued to masturbate on and off for awhile, and the symptoms remained. My memory is a little blurry about this time, but if I remember correctly, the flaccid toughness gradually became less frequent, but erections continued to be painful. I also began "hourglassing" when semi hard. I got a girlfriend around this time and it made sex very difficult. I eventually was able to have sex with little to no difficulty, and only occasional pain.

Months after, near the end of 2013, the symptoms seemed to have stabilized, but a dent had formed in the bottom left lower shaft. A small lump has formed on bottom of the shaft on the right near the head. On my right side very small dents spot the shaft (probably at least 3 or 4) and on the side of the right shaft I have ridges during erection. Gradually, over the course of the last two years or so, the pain has seemed to be less frequent, with me occasionally getting light pain during masturbation/erection. Also, a gradual curving to the right has occurred, but it's very minimal. Quality of erection has improved from initial symptoms, but is definitely worse than prior. My flaccid state is usually a mixed bag, between squishy and semi-tough.

I visited a doctor twice for this now, trying to get to referred to a urologist, and both times the doctors had brushed it off. The second doctor I saw attributed it to an accident during sex and it would heal on it's own.

So, my question for you guys is how to go about treating this? I definitely don't think it's severe enough to warrant surgery, and I don't want to get it anyway. I luckily got a mild case. I'd like to add that the pain/quality of erection seem to coincide, and there seems to be a cycle now where I have decent erections with little to no pain for a couple of weeks, and then low quality with pain for a couple of weeks. ALSO, I'm fairly young. In my early 20s.

Thanks guys! I'm excited to finally get rid of this disease.

Welcome! I also ended up with Peyronie's and pelvic floor issues after over straining my PC muscles. Mine are "overtoned" due to years of clenching in order to orgasm, and now every day I have to make an effort to relax the area and do stretches that help with that.

While this is no clear cause of Peyronie's, there seems to be a link between the pelvic floor and penile health. Many of us with Peyronie's have pelvic floor pain.

Check out the link from LWillisjr and research these forums carefully. My hourglass deformity went away with traction and a VED. They are invaluable tools against the disease and can help restore lost dimentions. That being said, they don't work the same for all men and can cause injury when used improperly.

For a guy your age, I recommend periods of abstinence and daily traction. I think the rest can then take care of itself as your natural erections remodel your penis. The last thing you want to do is exhaust your brain by checking your erections constantly and watching porn. Be VERY careful about going for surgery unless you know exactly why you're doing it and with what surgeon. Surgery is a last resort.
