Quick question for my own peace of mind.

So about three months ago I went to the doctor because of a large lump on my penis. The doctor diagnosed it as scar tissue under the skin, which is known as Peyronie's disease. However, I have read that this condition usually happens on the shaft, whereas mine is closer to the head of the penis on my left side only. It is also very large, taking up nearly the entire left side near the head.

As far as agitation and discomfort are concerned, it comes and it goes. It will act up on and off for about two months, then any feeling of pain or itching will subside for another few months, then come back again. During the times that it comes back, it seems to subside when I refrain from masturbation, but it will become agitated if either I masturbate (this happens whether I touch the penis or not. Ejaculation in general will sometimes cause it to act up) or when I have to use the bathroom either #1 or #2. After using the bathroom, things will feel much better.

There is no discoloration of the effected area, no health problems to me. This thing simply acts up on and off consistently now. So my question is, are all these symptoms normal, or is there something strange going on here? Have any of you experienced this at all?

"Scar tissue under the skin" is the Tunica. And can be anywhere along the shaft.

But your symptoms to me do not sound like Peyronies. Peyronies doesn't "come and go".

Sounds like lymphocele and or mondors. Stop all sexual activity for two weeks, try ice, see how it goes. Also consider seeing a Peyronie's specialist if you aren't sure.

Thank you all. I'm very frustrated now because I don't think I was diagnosed correctly. I have been using treatments such as ACETYL - L - CARNITINE to try and treat this, but now I don't know if that has been doing anything at all. Might go for a second opinion.
