Hi all,
I was recently given a diagnosis of Peyronie's by my urologist.  I should note, I have no curvature yet. I told my urologist that I'd noticed a bump on my penis shaft and that I'd had some aches in my penis lately. I was actually going to the urologist for another reason altogether, but I mentioned those issues, thinking they might be connected to urethritis I'd been having for about three weeks. My appointment was pretty rushed (and I found out after the fact my urologist is on probation from the medical board), and I'm kind of doubting whether this is Peyronie's or not. I'm still pretty anxious, however, and am taking full precautions just in case (Pentox, CoQ10, Arginine, Carnitine)

The thing is, the bump I noticed was only around for a week or two. It was only noticeable while I was erect, was right underneath the surface of the skin when I first noticed it, and it has since disappeared. I can't find it, erect or flaccid. Does that sound like typical behavior for a Peyronie's plaque? Can they do that? That was about a month ago, and I haven't noticed any new bumps or anything that feels hard to plaque-like.

The aching in my penis also only occurred after considerable masturbation (which I've since stopped, especially with the urinary tract pain), of 1 hr+. Sounds like Peyronie's pain occurs as soon as you get an erection. Is that correct? I'm wondering if the aching was just due to me overdoing it.

I have an appointment with another urologist for a second opinion, so I'm hoping to get a definite answer soon.

Thanks,
DJ

Consider a good magnesium supplement as well...not magnesium oxide, as that is pretty worthless, but magnesium chloride or similar.  Magnesium deficiency is almost universal in fibrosis conditions, which is at its base what Peyronie's is mostly.  Lumps and bumps may just be the beginning, but you want to give your body as much to work with as possible now.  Daily erections are a good idea, but absolutely NO injury.

If you are a porn user, consider dropping it, as the desensitization to stimulation which comes from it can encourage over stimulation which will cause injury.
