I have not been diagnosed yet, but I'm certain that I have Peyronies.  At this point I do not have any pain.  I simply have a large upward bend.  I'm just wondering if the condition leads directly to ED or are they two completely separate conditions?

Hi Scat1997,

Peyronies does not necessarily lead to ED. I believe there are many forum members that still get good erections regardless of their peyronies.
Indeed, some people believe it can be the other way round, ED leads to Peyronies. For example sex with a weak erection could be more susceptible to injury.

Indeed, it seems to be more interrelated than one causing the other. Peyronie's has made my erections much worse than when I was younger, at this in turn causes worse penile health and even more Peyronie's. If you have Peyronie's, the chances are that your erectile health is not optimal to begin with, but this is not necessarily true. I still believe that treating Peyronie's should involve treating overall penile health. Of course traction, VED, and some supplements are aimed specifically at combating Peyronie's, I highly recommend focusing on your penile health.

I guess I've been pretty lucky so far.  I have always had good erections and I still do at 55.  I haven't been diagnosed yet, but they bend I have is almost certainly Peyronies and I still have good erections.  Of course I'm hoping that one doesn't lead to the other.  I hope to get to a doctor in the next few weeks.

I had excellent erection at the age of 61 and then Peyronies stuck followed gradually by ED.
So in my case, ED followed Peyronies
Still can have erection with 50 mg Viagra, enough for intercourse with what remained from my previous dick

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
