After sixteen months of having peyronnies i'm still waiting to see a urologist due to long wait times and the medical clinic I initially went to messed up the appointment date so I missed it. Now i'm looking at waiting another possible seven months just to go an appointment with a urologist who will treat peyronnies patients. There aren't many urologists that seem to want to help peyronnies sufferers. I might even have to drive four hours to a different city just to see one.

I went to my family doctor a month ago and he told me I had peyronnies(the first doctor I went to after injury told me he didn't know). Despite not having a visible bend in the penis(though I can feel a bend inside my body below the base which causes it to point more inwards) and no real loss in size since the injury. I haven't measured my penis since I was a kid but I can tell by looking at it that it's the same length and basically the same girth when fully erect(6 1/2 inches approximately). In terms of girth i've lost a very negligible amount of size and it appears to just be on the right side of the shaft(maybe a 5% decrease max).

I asked the doctor if he was sure I had peyronnies and not corporal fibrosis and he said it's the same thing and that I did have peyronnies. He said I need pentox and viagra to treat it but he wouldn't prescribe it to me. What the hell is up with that? I could go to a doctor for a headache and they'll try to give me benzodiazepines or antipyschotics but if I need something for sexual health they look at me like i'm asking for methamphetamine. My experiences with medical staff has been both unhelpful and unpleasant. I actually had one doctor laugh at me and then his receptionist giggled at me when I went to fill out some paperwork.

In terms of function i've lost alot of sensation and it has become difficult to become erect and sometimes difficult to stay erect when finally aroused. It seems like i'm going through longer abstinence periods with less positive results. I can no longer maintain an erection unless i'm laying down.

As for plaque i'm not even sure if there is any. I don't see or feel anything unusual under the skin. Is it possible to have peyronnies and not have plaque or am I just failing to identify it?

I'm going to buy a VED soon and hopefully this will cause some improvement. I've been using ubiquinol, vitamin E, fish oils and various herbs and have changed my diet to improve blood flow but function has seemed to slowly decline regardless. Also hardness while flaccid has seemed to of slowly gotten worse as well. Laying down blood flow seems to improve but standing it will usually harden up unless i'm doing something physically strenuous.

Is it possible to have peyronnies with no bend and no loss in size? What about the absence of plaque? Any comments or advice or recommendations on the best pump would be appreciated.

I forgot to add that i'm also taking arginine and sometimes citruline as well.

Another thing i'd like to know more about is the 'turtling' of the penis. When I wake up in the morning it immediately will start to shrink up like it's very cold and will stay that way for several hours before blood flow seems to improve. In the nights it seems to flow at it's best and appears it's most normal when flaccid. Does anyone else experience this turtliing effect? Does it improve or get worse? Will a VED help improve this problem?

Hey BZ, where in Canada are you? I'm in Mississauga maybe I can help. What happened to you is total BS. I think there is a VED link to a supplier on this site.  I have just started with VED put so far no results in fact my penis feels rather sore I guess I need to back off the vac pressure although im in the recommended ranges
