Does this sound like Peyronies Disease to you?

I am 21 year old male suffering no other known physical problems. When I was 8 I was kicked in the penis so hard that a scar formed on the outside, blood leaked out of urethra and was present in my urine for a few days. For as long as I can remember my penis has had a curve of around 15 degrees when erect - I do not know if this curve was congenital as it is in other men.

A few years ago when my girlfriend tried to straighten my erection by applying pressure with her hands and thumb I felt a sharp, strong pain that slowly diminished over a few weeks. Immediately after my flaccid penis became shorter and thinner than it used to be and feels deflated, my erections are softer and smaller, the curve has increased to around 30 degrees and I have noticed firm lumps on the side of my penis after having an erection as well as having what feels like a rigid sheet over my flaccid penis on the right side - these symptoms seem to remain the same and temporarily improve when abstain from sexual activity for a few days. I remember a bad persistent itch, sharp shooting pain, painful dull ache and sometimes a tingling sensation in the area that was straightened that went away after around 3 months, leaving me only with a mild to moderate dull ache and tight feeling in the affected area. These changes have been getting progressively worse over the past few years and I can no longer engage in penetration or sexual activities without having to stop from the pain and discomfort. When erect I can notice what look like protruding bands under the skin at a horizontal to my shaft, and some of them line up exactly where the curve starts (I think I have more of them now than I used to have a few years ago). The girth of my penis when erect is thinner after the curve, which starts around 2/3rds of the way up the shaft, but this has been present since I was first kicked.

I dont always experience a bad pain during an erection or when flaccid, but there are weeks or months that I will always experience pain after an erection for the following hours and days after. During those weeks or months when I will feel pain, even walking or simply handling it to urinate can cause a slight pain to occur for anywhere to a few minuets to a whole day. The pain after an erection is proportional to how much and for how long I used it. The pain is usually mild, uncomfortable and persistent but sometimes it hurts quite a lot - most of the time it feels like a dull ache, other times it feels like its being pressed or pinched. I feel the pain and discomfort in either the left or right side of my penis, and sometimes both. How I feel about it and the worry about it is keeping me awake at night and I have given up pursuing a relationship due to my multiple rejections over this issue. I also sometimes experience a similar sensation in my feet in the area behind and below the ankles, on the soles, in and around the toes, and in the area behind my knees.  I have also noticed a hard string-like tube that runs from the base of the penis right of the central vein to the top of the highest bump on the right side, then wraps round to the underside of the penis. It seems to encompass the hard bumps and sheet. Also, I've noticed an indentation above the highest bump, but my penis has always (since the injury) narrowed at that point, so Im not sure if this is actually some indentation caused by Peyronies Disease or just the height difference caused by the bump, the narrowing that i've always had and the shape of the glands under the foreskin?

The intensity of these symptoms continually changes from mild to intense. The curve remains a constant symptom though. I rarely feel the sensation in the penis and in the feet independently. If pain is caused to my penis through sex or masturbation then I will also begin to feel that same feeling in my feet.

Sorry if this isnt the right place to post this but Im only 21 and I've had this since childhood but its getting worse.
Thinking that the impermanent is permanent will always result in suffering experienced as loss.

Ewra,

Most importantly, before anything else, seek the advice of a good urologist.  One with some background in Peyronies Disease.  Ask for an ultrasound so that you get a proper diagnosis.  I think this is really important because of the injury you sustained as a youngster and the injury when you were older with your girlfriend.

After you are properly diagnosed return here and you'll have a better idea of what to read and concentrate on if indeed you do have Peyronies.

Good luck and we look forward to hearing the results of your ultrasound and treatment options.

Hi. Welcome to the world of erectile dysfunction because of blunt penile trauma, or if you prefer, a penile fracture.you should never ever, never, bend an erect penis because the consequences are there you are experiencing. You may or may not have blocked the micro arteries that run inside your penis and there is a chance that if you did, you can go back to normal, or at least, improve your condition.

Life's a bitch.... Oh, and just so that you know... I fractured my penis while having sex, and didn't even loose my erection at the time, and guess what. I have 90% me@the symptoms and feelings you described. I also confirmed my diagnosis on the best urologist in America to deal with sexual injuries.

If you want more, help, let me know.

That is extremely unfortunate about what your girlfriend did to you, if not a complete my tragic failure of our education system regarding sex. That is as uninformed as sticking a needle in your eye.

You have an obvious case of Peyronie's and penile damage. Any damage to the penis that causes any kind of deformity is always Peyronie's from a treatment standpoint and more or less outcome standpoint, regardless of having a genetic disposition.

I'm sorry about this. You aren't alone though, many of us feel partly to blame or made a bad mistake which ended up damaging us. The information about penile damage is simply lacking.

I also have feet numbness and tingling. My best bet is that it's diabetic neuropathy related, since Peyronie's has some connection with diabetes. Watch your blood sugar if you want to spare your veins, arteries, nerves, and sexual function.

You should see a specialist ASAP and treat this head on.
