Lump / Bulge

Gutted

My hourglass and curvature has been 'stable' for about 6 months now although I still seem in the Acute phase

I now have a small bulge / lump visible (about 1cm long) on the right side. It is just ahead of the hourglass dent on that side. As in, between the end of the hourglass dent and the glans

It is visible when flaccid which my other symptoms aren't

I can feel a small little nodule in the centre of the bulge. The bulge hasn't seemed to change or add to my erect symptoms though.

My symptoms remained the same for many months, the only thing that was different was I was 8 weeks into the VED protocol

Has anyone else had a bulge develop ? Did it go / grow ? Was VED treatment involved at the time ?

Maybe this lump is a normal part of Peyronies Disease that I was just not aware of. Any and all views appreciated....

Many thanks

I had such a "bulge" much before the Peyronies so VED was not involved and gone alone after a while.
From the other side in my opinion, even low chance, it may be also from the VED.
Proposing you to stop using VED for  week and see if something change.

Very high possibility

That's very good to know thanks James ... at least I am not a one off !!

I have stopped VED thanks and seeing if that sorts it out.

I hope mine goes like yours did

Thanks

Hi Gutted,

I'm in a similar boat as you. I have two dents near the glans, but behind the dent on the right side, I've noticed a small lump or nodule. I'm not sure if I've irritated it or not, but I can see it stick out slightly (or push the skin out slightly) when flaccid. I have not used VED, so I'm still trying to figure out why my situation is getting like this.

Background: Had prostatitis in Sept 2014, developed pain and a plaque on tunica right near glans, 8 months later found another small plaque on tunica near base, and past two months found these small dents near glans, and now this nodule behind the right dent. I get an hourglassing effect as a result.

Is your nodule firm? Mine seems to be.

Gutted

I have a little nodule like that under the skin in a couple of places. They almost feel like loose or floating under the skin. Not like a plaque. They don't seem to effect the deformities I have which are more in line with where I can feel the plaques.

My original post here was more about a bulge than a nodule. Like an inflated lump sticking out when flaccid about 1cm long on the right side

It didn't go when I stopped VED and has got no worse, neither did my deformities. So I am non the wiser as to what it is and it seems to be going nowhere

Another Peyronies Disease mystery !!!

NeoV

Depending on the area, lumps can be lymphatic vessels or veins which are inflamed or enlarged as well as scar tissue.

Use a bright light and put it up to your flaccid penis and bend it gently so the lump is pronounced, see if it has a bluish tin to it. If so, it is likely a vein or lymphatic vessel rather than scar tissue.

The better option is to see a specialist and tell him you want an ultrasound of those exact lumps to know what they are. It can be very frustrating and confusing, but remind yourself that it's all treated the same way anyway, so start treating it like Peyronie's as soon as possible.

Interesting thanks Neo ... will try that bright light approach

I am very gently getting back on the VED now the aching balls and groin symptoms have gone .... kind of feeling my way in with a 30% inflation and very short few second holds

NeoV

If the bulges are worsened by VED, it is likely not scar tissue.

I had some wicked lymph and vein inflammation after VED, it took two years for them to go down while not using VED, and even now if I have too rough sex I may be able to see them slightly.

Pumping low is effective and a good idea : )

Gutted

No bluish tint .... if anything at all, looked paler than surrounding skin.

I seem to be doing OK so far on the 30% inflation rather than the 50% originally recommended in the protocol. Also holding for 5 seconds, not 10 now.
