As far back as I can remember, since childhood around 10 or 11... I noticed that my penis was curved/bent downwards like a banana. I thought it was normal for many years. In my teens however I realized that it's not normal. I was too embarrassed to talk ANYBODY about it. The last 5 or more years though it's gotten worse. To a point that I know that I cannot have a sexual relations with a woman.

I also suffer from PIED (Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction). Meaning that I can't get it up for a real female, but can only get it up for porn. It's all neuroscience brain stuff, look into it. It's a very deep and complex situation. Quitting porn for forever is meant to reverse this condition having learned this from countless posts from NoFap.com and YourBrainOnPorn.com and YourBrainRebalanced.com. But it can take many many months to even a few years of abstaining from PMO (Porn/Masturbation/Orgasm) to see results. So I have just recently this past month taken up this challenge.

Anyway, getting back to Peyronie's... I'm in a very hopeless situation. I'm financially not stable - can't afford too many expenses. Does a Urologist cost money to visit several times? The sound of traction devices sounds appealing to me. I'm willing to put in the time. What's the best device? Is that all I need? Could you people help me on how to reverse/cure this condition as fast as possible without surgery etc? Injections seem useless and seem that they can do more harm, plus they're scary as hell. Please help. I'm a complete newbie to all of this. I'm totally lost!..... Thankyou

You need to see a urologist. This can be done on the NHS, although I suspect there will be a wait for an appointment.

From what you describe, it sounds as if you have a congenital curvature, not Peyronies. I'm not a urologist so you will need to see one to confirm this. If so, traction may be of some use, but if the curvature is severe, you will probably need surgery to correct it.

Hi SolidSnake,

I concur. Please see a urologist before you start any treatment like traction. On the NHS, You can expect to wait 2-4 months once your GP has sent off a referral. Ask your GP that if possible to refer you to a urologist who has experience dealing with penis conditions such as peyronies. You can see them as many times as is necessary free of charge, you just need to be willing to wait.

For private treatment you need to pay repeatedly, for every test and consultation. If can afford this you will have almost instant access to a urologist of your choice (assuming they work privately, many but not all do). Search the forum, there is a list of reputable experts in the UK. Mr Ralph, Mr Minhas and Mr Keuhas are names that tend to appear on the forum.

Hey snake, (nice name dude) I'm 29 too!

Quitting porn use it at least cutting down and having long rest periods helped me with my symptoms a lot, but I'm not exactly against porn. I had that kind of ED but found it was mostly in my head and took practice being with more women before the issue went away. I'm not sure about you but making sex more of a joke seems to help, don't make it some serious ordeal but laugh at the whole situation. You can make it serious at times but you should always be able to break into a smile or laugh.

Also just being more sexually honest to yourself helped me, for example learning what arouses you and feeling completely okay telling your girl to do it for you. This can be hard for guys who even have a lot of experience with women, as it takes a lot of inner strength to tell a girl to show you herself in a certain position while you admire her. I think most men can't even imagine how their voice would even sound asking for certain things from women, but the potential is there.

Learn to be at ease with women and your Peyronie's. I used to have women over and show them exactly where it bends while both naked, saying "yeah this genetic problem I have sucks, really trying to make it better." Go on to say "it's been a while and it might be hard for me to get hard but you look amazing" and go on to do exactly what you like. That's all sex should be anyway, an expression of what you enjoy regardless of abilities or standards, as long as it's with concent and not harming anyone.

As for treatment without money, welcome to my world man! What a pain. I did manual traction (using my hands only) for three years, and seriously reduced the curve, pain, and deformity. I used to watch movies while doing it gently, and got my name Neo from watching the Matrix trilogy a bit too many times this way. Be extremely careful, and never stretch too hard, duration is important, not tension. As others have said try to see a specialist too. There are cheap supplements that can help too! Seriously. Focus on your penile health in general, and your issues can improve.

I agree with the other follow-up posts. What you have briefly described sounds more like congenital curvature. And to correct this you have limited options, but you DO have options. We have a whole board regarding congenital curves. I suggest you research this or PM me with any questions.
