so i dont have peyronies disease but i do have scar tissue aka plaque inside my penis, and i think this plaque is causing me to go numb by putting pressure on a nerve. and im not sure if il ever get it fixed. its very frustrating and pretty much destroyed my life. and decreased my well being. i try everyday to be positive but in the end the plaque always wins. i cant sleep, man oh man i cant sleep. im just so constantly numb that il just stay awake the whole night because i cant sleep. maybe its because im so freakin numb and my penis is so uncomfortable because i can barely feel it. and there's barely any blood pumping through it. so pretty much i force myself to masturbate just so i can pretty much feel my penis again. i can mostly feel it when theres blood inside of it. the biggest problem in my life is that i just cant sleep. and its so depressing. iv bought countless sleeping pills magnesium pills, magnesium powder, herbal sleep pills melatonin, nothing works. and something has to work because i have to live my life and i dont know what to do.

Peyronie's disease is basically scar tissue interfering with normal penis function.  Ordinarily this results in a bend or hour glass type of situation, but in your case it appears to just be interfering with nerve function.  I would advise you to find a good Andrologist (Urologist specializing in Sexual Health) to help you out.  While your issue is a bit unique here, it sounds quite possible that a Peyronie's plaque can impact nerves without necessarily impacting the Tunica.  It sounds like a surgical option might be a good one to remove the plaque, but the risk of permanent nerve damage is quite high in my opinion.  You definitely need to find a good Andrologist...and be careful NOT to injure yourself in the meantime.

Are you doing VED?
VED induces blood flow to the penis, low dose Cialis also.

Agent0,

where exactly is your plaque? I see you had an MRI...where is the plaque? Septum? Corpora?

I do have a numb penis as well...i dont feel a thing when I wake up in the morning..I need to look to know I have an erection...I also have, in theory, nerves pressed by the plaque...in my case is right in the base of the penis, and a lot of nerves go that way into the rest of the penis...Uros have been able to palpate it, but it cannot be seen with doppler ultrasound...however it could be seen by the MRI.

The only thing that can help is taking anti-fibrotic medicine/herbs, like pentox and others. You need to focus on removing the plaque, and that might help with sensation recovery.

I am in the path of trying stem cell + PRP on the plaque and the corpora to see if I can recover my sensitivity loss, but this is all investigational at this point.

You need to stay positive though. First, be rational. If you have scar tissue in a place where that can be nerves, then focus first on getting rid of it. Go to the best uros (you can find the list in this forum) and do your best. That's what I am doing. Nerves do regenerate, specially if they are allowed to regenerate, and specially if they were not severed, which is not our case.

By the way, I am also about to start VED therapy, both for the plaque/sensitivity issues, and some hourglass and penile deformities. You might want to read up in the forum and look at it as well.

Best Peyronie's disease definition I've ever seen.

I have numbness all over, even in my face after a VED injury. It's driven me insane. But I must say that constant erection checking or compulsive masturbation can make things a hell of a lot worse!

It will lower your arousal levels and can also damage your penis if it isn't completely hard from natural arousal.

Numbers and pain is really hard to deal with I know, try to be easy on yourself man it's not your fault. Like others have said continue to treat it, see a true specialist and do everything you can. I'm sorry to hear about your sleep issues. Try seriously getting into mindfulness meditation, that has helped me so so much.
