Got diagnosed with peyriones last week and am on a script of viagra which I have been told to take twice a week  for the next year. Since I first noticed the dent in my penis there seems to have been little to no change in deformity. The doctor told me hopefully after a few months thing should begin to stabilise and after 8-10 months hopefully improve. Anyway I'm staying positive and hoping for the best. My question is am I being overly optimistic. I'm 35 and fairly healthy. I suppose I'm wondering do we only ever hear the worst stories here as those that improve/heal would naturally not post here as much if at all. I came across some sites that say it's not uncommon for it to resolve. Also I suppose I'm interested in the scale of change. Are there a lot of people out there with minimal deformity. Curious and Interested in replies here.

Viagra is only a small part of it.  Cialis may be better, as what you are after with this aspect is circulation improvement.

Consider that Magnesium Deficiency is a common issue associated with pretty much ANY fibrosis issue, which Peyronie's (PDS) is.

Hey thanks for the reply.  I have read through most of those links and they are very informative. I did speak with my urologist and brought up pentox and he was very clear that in urology circles it was felt pentox had no effect. maybe he's wrong but he said he was an international conference recently where it was discussed. I know progression is very different for everybody but I suppose what I was asking was if after initial extreme changes is it common in people's experience for things to get progressively worse after the first couple of months. I am happy enough to wait and see at the moment as bar the dent the change is not overly dramatic and if it's stable for the next few months I'm hopeful things might improve.

When I spoke with Dr Kuehhas at The London Andrology Centre he felt that Pentox could prove useful in treating  Peyronies, but only in the active phase. His view was that once in the chronic stage, and especially if there was calcification present, that Pentox was unlikely to have any effect.

Pentox seems to be more useful when combined with daily Cialis.  uncertain here.
