Is it Peyronie's?

Hi, guys. New member here. 20 years old. Never thought I'd be here, discussing a disease I didn't know existed 4 or so months ago. My symptoms probably started about 3 and a half to 4 months ago. I can't pinpoint with 100% certainty how this all began... I can remember though that my onset of symptoms was pretty sudden. It all started with an episode in which I was masturbating (humping a couch). It was at that time I felt I slight popping sensation. At first I didn't think much of it. Shortly thereafter, I went to go urinate. Only my penis appeared very red and I couldn't get any urine to come out. I was dismayed by this, but instead of going to a hospital  (which I probably should have) I proceeded to try again. I was finally able to go with some penile discomfort. Afterwards I had some discomfort but I didn't suspect anything catastrophic. Unfortunately, my discomfort and pain have only gotten worse since then. I'm constantly in a great amount of pain, regardless of whether I am flaccid or have an erection. I've already visited my primary doctor twice, who thought to run a urine test but when that came back negative sent me to a specialist (urologist). The urologist I saw was horrible. On top of doing a physical exam on me while flaccid (in which he found nothing) he performed a cystoscopy  (putting a camera up my penis to check my urethra and blatter out). Since the cystoscopy on last thursday, I have continued to experience painful urination as well as having urine leak out my tip and stain my underwear. He seems to think it's just irritation from the procedure that should go away on its own. But aside from that terrible experience, I fear that I may have peyronie's. The entire left side of my shaft/penis constantly hurts. My erections are always paniful. I have stopped masturbating completely the past 2 weeks because the pain has become too much to enjoy. But I'm not sure that I can feel a plaque anywhere on my penis or a hardened nodule like some other members here have reported. In a flaccid state, it constantly leans to the left, which it didn't used to do before these symptoms. When erect, there is the pain like I said, but also a slight maybe 20° bend to the left, but that's only a rough estimate. The bend/curvature is not the worst part. I could likely live with that. But the ever-present pain is slowly tearing me apart. I'm aware that the mental struggle is half the battle, but I'm not sure that I can even win that half if the pain is going to persist like this. Right now I have an appointment scheduled to a second urologist, a Dr. Jason Jameson at the mayo clinic here in the general Phoenix, AZ area. That appointment is set for the 30th. However, I have no idea if he is experienced with peyronie's or not. Honestly, I need your guys' help in finding a local doctor here who has experience diagnosing and treating this disease, because I'm sure there are a lot of good urologists here but my feeling is that most urologists aren't very knowledgeable or experienced in dealing with peyronie's. Now going on 3 months trying to get diagnosed and get treatment, I feel that I am losing precious time. I am desperate to find a good doctor right now. Also, I know this is a ridiculously long post but I have 3 final questions for those who have survived and made it out of the acute phase: 1. Does the pain eventually subside post-acute phase or even resolve? 2. What should I be doing now to treat not only my pain in the acute phase but the disease as a whole? And lastly, how can I find a local doctor experienced with peyronie's who can possibly diagnose and treat me? If you read all of this, I thank you for your patience, understanding, and truly heroic fight against this disease.

Hi there Matticus, it seems you too are a victim of prone masturbation, I wish there was a way to warn people about that type of masturbation it really is unhealthy for the penis especially if you do it for a long time, though I can tell you about some supplements that are really recommended around the forum CoQ10, Acetyl L Carnitine, L Arginine and some Magnesium wouldn't hurt as well, they are all available at stores like Wal-mart or GNC, don't worry bro i can relate since I did some prone mastubation myself also try going on a strict diet to reduce any inflammation eat fruits, veggies and no fats since it could probably bring the pain back also try Omega-3 Fish oil heard that helps with inflammation, take care hope you feel better!

Thanks for the info. Any advice in trying to find a doctor?

Well I'm also trying to find a good urologist, but apparently from what I heard alot of the urologists aren't exactly helpful when it comes to peyronies, but if you do find a good one ask for a ultrasound on on the penis and tell him to give you Pentox it helps alot from what I heard, also do some research around the forum on tractions and VED it can probably help you in some way.
