Hello everyone,

Was wondering what everyone does if you're planning to use a 20mg dose of Viagra for intercourse (ED), when your also taking 5mg daily Cialis for the Peyronie's.

Cheers and best wishes.
Age early thirties, peyronies 4.5 years

Probably not a wise thing to do.  Sounds like overkill.  Might want to call the 800 Cialis #, talk w/ one of their specialists, and get their opinion -- not to mention asking your doc.

It probably depends on the individual.   My urologist actually recommended that I take the 5mg Cialis daily for blood flow and use Viagra for intercourse.   Works for me.  --artguy1

I think the general consensus is to not take the evening dose of Cialis if you're going to take the Viagra that evening.

Both drugs work effectively the same way (PDE5 inhibitor). So I question the logic of taking both at the same time. I think many tend towards Cialis if they don't have any significant side effects, in which case one can try Viagra. Or even the more forgotten drug.... Levitra.

Legitimate question
I was doing as you asked in your question because Cialis in bigger dose than 5 mg makes me bad side effects and not helping me with erection. Viagra helps me with erection.
The warnings on the packs are:
* No more than 100 mg Viagra per day
* No more than 20 mg Cialis per day
In my opinion can be combined but keep the daily combined dosage in the limits, for example 5 mg Cialis and 50 mg Viagra makes you bellow the maximum as I am considering 5 mg Cialis = 25 mg Viagra
Disclaimer: Do not consider the above sentence as an advice, I am not a doctor, just speaking from my own experience
20 mg Viagra for intercourse sounds me to little, but if it helps you, better than bigger dosage.

Whilst their action is the same, they are both PDE 5 inhibitors, viagra probably gives a more powerful erection short term - it's what to take like if you're going to have sex pretty soon. Cialis is far more long lasting in the body and the effects can still be present 36 hours after taking it.

For daily maintenance of healthy blood flow, Cialis - tadalafil is best for the reason mentioned above.

I know some people that do it in FT forum. It's doable, but your blood pressure might drop severely. Be sure to have someone around or be close to the hospital in that case. Also, The guys that do it have at least moderate ed, but the majority is so severe that one pill just doesn't cut it. They even pump, take the viagra later, and the cialis on a daily basis.

So... good luck!

As per my knowledge both the pills have same effects. Its just that cialis is effective for 30-40 hours while Viagra  stays for 3-4 hours.

There are reasonably large differences in the inhibition selectivity of each with regards to the various phosphodiesterase types.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Yep. And food doesn't effect cialis whereas it does viagra. Viagra is suggested to be taken 1 hour before a meal or 2 after.

Many guys take both when one alone doesn't work, or higher doses.
