Hi Friends,

Has anyone reading this had VI with Dr. Grober in Toronto?  I am considering this treatment with him after Pentox and Cialis failed to stop the progression of the disease (since May 2014 onset).  If so, is he good and experienced with this?  Has anyone done it without the numbing agent?  And any other feedback on success and procedure etc would be greatly appreciated.

I did a search on this and only one thing popped up from 2011 which didn't answer any of the questions.  So I'm curious as to any updated and recent information and insight into this with Dr. Grober.

By the way, overall I think he's a great doctor that cares for his patient's well being so I do recommend him as a doctor to anyone in Toronto or abroad who are considering seeing him

Thanks a lot.

Omar.

Hi. I find it impressive that even after so many negative feedback people still want to try these injections....  Why not go for xiaflex?

pfract,

Good observation.... but so far the results have been about the same for both drugs. I have been told statistics that about 30% of men see improvement with VI's, and maybe a little more 40% of men see improvement with Xiaflex. And until there are studies it could be that some men respond better to one drug over the other.

I see Dr. Levine in a few months and will ask if there is any updated information regarding both approaches.

But isn't xiaflex the only fda approved drug?

Omar

Xiaflex or whatever it's called isn't available in Canada.  Hence my subject line asking if anyone has tried VI with Dr. Grober in Toronto....Canada.
So I'll ask again.  Anyone?

Verapamil has been approved for well over 5 years now. Many doctors used this prior to Xiaflex.

As my original post said, I did do a Grober search with VM injections and got one result from 2011, hence my new subject for something recent. I don't need reviews of Dr. Grober as I already know he's a great doctor and I did read his reviews here before going. So, I will ask for a third time:
Does anyone have recent experience with Dr. Grober and VM injections here in Toronto? Any insight into the procedure, his experience in doing them and your overall experience with him as it relates to THIS treatment would be greatly appreciated :) Cheers.

Feel free to PM me also in the event you wanna chat about this privately and avoid the constant incorrect and irrelevant comments that often accompany posts that ask specific questions.

Omar, did you ever see Dr. Grober? I haven't seen him but I have been to the Mt Sinai hospital uro dept. (Dr Jarvi) and they really care about you.

Pfract

I hope they do, because i am about to go there pretty soon.

I have injections scheduled with Grober for next week. Anyone that has had them done by him and/or his office – would be great ot hear from you about how they went.
