Hi, I'm somewhat new to this forum, but I've had Peyronie's for about six years.

I have only recently been prescribed L-Arginine, Vitamin E, and Pentox for now. My second follow up is in September, and all things look as good as they can be for someone like me

I have a mild case of Peyronie's but it's still the hurting, annoying, and slightly noticeable kind

I'm wondering, since I'm not an expert at all at this, since it is just scarred tissue and plaque that is causing so much discomfort among everyone here, can't the scarred tissue just be massaged away like it is done for any other human body part with an internal scar?

Again, just trying to make conversation. I have no experience with any remedies on the side. But for the lack of support and help that Peyronie's tends to have, it's something worth considering I think.

(the idea being that pressure brings blood flow into the equation...)

I have also heard of this technique of massaging to remove scar tissue... Does anyone have any experience with this? Im interested...

A search for "massaging" will give 30 posts :)
You may find the answer to your question if you will read them.

Vitamin E taken orally is all but useless.  Not harmful, but not helpful.  Pentox works better with daily Cialis.  VED may be appropriate for reshaping.

The goal is to soften the scar tissue and reshape it into something which does not interfere with erection and use.  Painful areas where the scarring is inhibiting erectile function are your target areas, if your curvature is insignificant/not sufficient to interfere with intercourse.  At least that is my opinion.

In my own experience, not extensive by any means, my first symptoms were painful erections, a significant dorsal curvature, and dimples and bumps at the curve site.  I immediately built a traction device and started to use it, and the dimples/bumps and painful erections ceased almost immediately.  Curvature is more troublesome, and still prevents intercourse, but I am doing the best I can.  I have pretty much abandoned the traction in favor of VED, although I was using both for a while.  I have Pentox and Cialis prescribed, but no money to fill them at present.

I have so far improved my curvature by about 3 degrees from approximately 45 to just over 40...so I think I'm heading the right direction.

Good luck.

Can you post your measuring technique?
Would like to be able to measure 3 degree also.
My measurements are in best case +/- 5 degree or more.

Side (relative to curvature) smartphone photo with erection...superimpose with graphics program with a transparent image of a protractor.  Also, initial photo edited to remove background so that it may be overlaid over a newer photo for direct comparison.  I use Linux, and the graphics editing program...The GIMP (Gnome Image Manipulation Program)...is free and pretty powerful.  It is comparable to Adobe Photoshop, all be it a bit different to use.  Rotate image so that the base is aligned with the base of the first picture...

While I can detect a 3 degree change, or perhaps even smaller, 3 degrees is not as much as I had hoped to correct by now.  Of course we all want complete correction immediately...patient fellows that we are.  :)
