MrWorried

Hello All, Ok so basically for me this all started about 5 months ago - I got a pain in my bladder, thought I had a bladder infection went for all sorts of test, sexual health, bloods etc everything came back clear. I couldn't deny the pain I had in my Bladder.. which had now spread to my left ball, and left kidney.. after about 2 months this pain began in my penis.. at which time I obviously took it a lot more seriously... and I went on candifix thinking it could be a candida infection.. nevertheless after taking this for about a week.. things seemed to get a little better.. but one night (about a day after I had stopped the candifix) I went to the toilet to pee (With traditional semi erect penis) looked down to see It curving to about 2 o'clock!!

I was obviously shocked, and so went back about 10 minutes later and it was normal again - did some testing (Semi) and it seemed fine.

about 2 days later the same thing happened, needing to pee went to the toilet, semi erect, looked down and it was curving to about 2 o'clock.. now this happen one other time about a week later - yet the curving has never returned in any state since then.. flaccid, semi, erect.

Today I started getting this pain again in my bladder again.. I do have this hard/flaccid state after sex, and have also had pain on the inner half of Penis.

Some key facts : Ive got Varicocele in the left ball, which Ive had since childhood and I read that that could cause curving to the right.. maybe it inflamed something in the side (which was hurting due to this 'infection' I felt I had)

So my questions are :

Is this peyronies? surely if it was - it would be permanent?  There wouldn't have been the 3 short instances and then - now - perfectly normal for months?

Is Peyronies accompanied by this testicular pain in one ball? or alternating? or both? bladder pain? Kidney?

Please provide me with as much detail as possible

Kind regards

MrWorried

Just update but the curvature maybe was more 1 o'clock less than 2 ...

Also I have an inflamed epididymus, left side.. are these symptoms that other sufferers of Peyronies have presented?

LWillisjr

Pain from epididymus is completely different than Peyronies. Don't confuse the 2.

I have epididimal pain on my right side as well, but it is from an epididimal bypass done as an effort to restore fertility after a vasectomy.

As it turns out, my right testicle does little anyway, which I associate with the right side of my body being crushed in an accident in 1981.  I wound up "fertile" after the reversal, but the pain made intercourse difficult and I've not had another child as a result.  By "fertile", I mean my overall count was a tiny bit low at 699 million, but motility was off the charts at 83%.  "Fertile" normally means at least 700 million and 50% motility.

But I digress...I don't believe epididmal pain is directly related, although if it is due to inflammation, there may be a common factor.

MrWorried

Thanks for the replies, Could anyone answer about the temporary curvature?

..I notice I do have that Hard/Soft feeling and it feels a little .. lumpy? when flaccid. When its erect its completely straight and works fine. At the moment I don't have any pain either - Basically just the symptoms as said above with a  slight pinching on the right side..

Does anyone know If Pentox is safe to take with insulin? Humalog/lantus.. and what doses I should take.. I have no Peyronies specialists near so I'm going to have to treat myself on this.

At the moment Im taking Arginine and COQ10 - Also should I abstain from Sex or is it good to get erections but going easy on it haha

MrWorried

Also something that worries me - well the thought of it.. is shrinkage.

Does this actually happen? is it Girth or length.. both? neither? also if it does ..  by how much? does it always happen?

Kind regards

MrWorried

In my opinion, but it is my opinion, if the Peyronies is not treated seriously from the beginning the penis will always shrink.
Mine not treated for 3 years resulted in lost of 2&1/2" length and 50% girth.
After treatment for 18 months with VED, Pentox, low dose Cialis and many other trials, I am now 5&1/4" length and 60% from the original girth.

MrWorried,

It is good to avoid additional injury, but it is also good to ensure that you expand your member to close to the target erect size often, so that any plaque which develops does so at a size which doesn't impair erection or use.  Bumps is indicative that you are developing some plaque, and should treat from now on.

MrWorried

Thanks for the replies again, James what are your exact doses? and once treatment starts does it stop progression/shrinkage? Ive been taken Arginine and COQ 10 is Pentox better than Arginine? Why?

This is really hard to take mentally.. F^@%.

But thanks again its good to know others have gone through this.

MrWorried

Also .. When I look at the shaft I can see sort of a .. Band .. but all the way around the shaft - is that normal? shouldn't it just be on one side?

james1947

MrWorried

Peyronies plaques are coming in different shapes and sizes, band/ring like plaques are one of the.
Arginine is OK even most people here are taking L-Arginine or L Citrulline Malate, CoQ10 id fine if you are younger than 40 (You have not stated age in your profile), if not change to Ubiquinol.
Pentox is not coming to replace the Arginine or the CoQ10.
You may read information about Pentox on:

Thanks for the reply James - Im 27.

Currently Im on COQ10 100mg 3 x per day + Arginine 1000mg 3 x per day

I am definitely looking at Pentox - does this regime look good:

Cialis +COQ10 + Pentox + L- Arginine? Doses? Which are the most affective for early stage Peyronies?

Also what about:

ALC +Vitamin D + Vitamin E?

I asked my Urologist about Pentox - He said it is one of the possible treatments, but there is a chance that it causes penile neuropathy - Anyone with something encouraging to say on that? haha

I will look more into the VED - Thanks

james1947

MrWorried

Personally, I don't know of connection between Pentox and neuropathy. Make a google search, maybe you will find.
Vitamin E will not make any damage, but will not help also with Peyronies.
Regarding Vitamin D, can't make a forum search for it, you can search for Vitamin and get 30 pages.
Take a look at:
Vitamin D - Peyronies Society Forums
I tried Ubiquinol at the age of 65 for a short time, can't say if it helped or not, stopped because the price was forbidding for me.
Tried L-Arginine, no results, but other members are reporting good results.
What helped me is VED, Pentox 3*400 mg and Cialis 4 or 5 mg.

Mr. Worried,

By all means consult with Old Man concerning VED.  It is an important tool, but can do significant damage if misused.  I made my own VED device for under $50.

MrWorried

Thanks James and Kuaka,

Does anyone here take Lantus and Humalog (insulin)

So thats Pentox 3x 400mg daily - Cialis 4mg x 1 daily - Is it safe to keep taking Arginine and COQ10 with all these?
Must I continue taking all these tablets everyday for the next 18 months?

Also are they safe to take a the same time? (Sorry for silly questions - Just want to know as much as possible here)

james1947

I can't say if it is safe to take Pentox 3x 400mg daily - Cialis 4mg x 1 daily, L-Arginine and CoQ10.
L-Arginine and Cialis are both lowering the blood pressure.
I was taking the above for 3 months and even my blood pressure is between 110/70 to 120/80 I had no blood pressure lowering.

Thanks so much James

Ok so far I'm going to be taking:

3x 400mg Pentox daily - 1000mg L Arginine daily - COQ10 300mg daily + Vit D and E (How much?)
Can I take the first doses all at the same time or is it better to separate by an hour or so?

If anyone could you also answer my question below, it would be greatly appreciated -

Is it normal in Peyronies to Curve 1 day then not for 3 days - as of now it doesn't even  seem to be curving -.. In the "curving stage" of Peyroines surely it wouldn't get better from one day to the next - it would be permanent?

2) So far its curved 3 times to the right and once to the left but as of now its straight - but.. I seem to be getting an inflammation, not hard just pure inflammation on the left side? (Anyone else had these symptoms)

Really dude? You're taking drugs and you don't even know what you have? Are you stupid?
First step a smart person takes: specialist --> ultrasound

I would second that. Go to a specialist!

Mr Worried;

No, it is not normal in Peyronies for your penis to be curved one day, but not the next - I assume you're talking about when it's erect??  If so, I very much doubt you have Peyronie's disease.

See a urologist asap.

1) You would like to talk about stupid - how about reading apprehension. I said I'm going to be taking not I AM TAKING - I am preparing for the diagnosis - The only things I AM TAKING are COQ10 and Arginine which are not prescription, which I think is a wise first step while I was waiting to see the "Specialist" which I in-fact saw today. -

2) I have been seeking medical "specialist" advice for 6 months. stupid.  - several physical exams, ultrasounds, X-rays etc etc which has all come up with no clear answer as to why I am experiencing this pain and having these "curving episodes"

3) Quoted below: "I asked my Urologist about Pentox - He said it is one of the possible treatments, but there is a chance that it causes penile neuropathy - Anyone with something encouraging to say on that?" - Again your reading apprehension - read that a few times emasculated.

For those more helpful :

1) Does the curving start in the acute stage? or only in the chronic stage?

2) When I asked the "specialist" he said that this "hard soft" term means you feel hard and soft in places along the shaft - Whereas I was under the impression it was having your whole penis feeling hard even while flaccid? which is correct?

Jonbinspain : I've had the curving only when semi-erect not fully erect

james1947

MrWorried

The time you spent on answering emasculated is for nothing.
Anyhow, don't be like him and edit your post, I mean "smart-....."

Regarding your questions:
* Curving starts any time, not acute or chronic stage dependent. It is also difficult to define when the acute stage changing to chronic stage. Amy acute stage/chronic stage changes on/off a few time.
* Hard flaccid is the penis hard all the time, even when flaccid. Don't need to be stone hard.
* you are lucky you are still strait when fully erect, treat yourself as soon as you can to remain there and not progress further.

Thanks so much for the answers James - I've started Pentox after the go-ahead from the Urologist today. So its Pentox, Arginine, COQ10, Vit D & E.
