I just had 16 dot placation surgery a few days ago. When I first took a look at it from the wrappings it resembled black and blue spots all over it and my penis itself looks like it went through a boxing round match it got a hump wave on the left side and puffed out glands between stitch and head. Was wondering if this is and normal? Also am having nocturnal erections and they HURT like fury. It jars me out of my sleep even with heavy pain meds. Am wondering if this is normal and if so how long will this go on before I can have a decent nights sleep from the pain.

I cant answer this form you but would suggest calling the doctor and addressing it with his office right away.  :)

It all shoould be normal. You will start to sleep properly after 10-14days

If your erections are super rigid on all areas of your penis, than give time and it should heal. Hope on stitches break though.  Good luck!

Will take 2-3 weeks....   and then several months for complete healing.

Thanks guys for for the info. Just got to grit my teeth for the next few weeks it sounds like I will give the doc a call and see if he has got any tips cause am losing a lot of sleep

Just learnt and researched that there are two ways to have plication done. One way is to have degloving of the penis with permanent sutures and another way in which they do longitudinal incision with an absorbent suture and unfortunately I had delving done and permanently sutures. I feel real unlucky that I've came across this now smh :/

The bottom line 6inchcowboy, be cautious with doctors.
On any issue, they knowledge is limited, most of them not updated with new technologies, new drugs, new researches.

6inchcowboy - Is there much difference in outcome between the two surgical methods, or is it just that recovery time is longer for the permanent sutures option?
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

From what I've seen from the videos and read then yes the outcome is different. The 3-0 absorbent sutures are supposedly supposed to dissolve and be aborted within 4 months and the permanent stays for good and can cause damage over time. The other you heal faster and more effeciently. Let's see and oh since my curvature was on the side like the dudes in the video I would only be having stich and sutures on the left side and not all over my penis. These palpable knots hurt like a bitch. I also read that the practice who did the video gives some kind of inhibitors that make you heal faster and recover well. The story of my life I put my trust and hopes into a doctors hand because quot on quote he said that everything is going to be okay and we will get you fixed up. Wish now that I would've found this info before the surgery ughhh!  :-[

Dont worry. You can still replace them with absorbable ones in The future

Pfract

You will always think "what if" in certain situations. This is one of them. Despite the article you found the outcome can still be Good. Try to be patient and talk to your doctor!

6inchcowboy

Several stitches broke on left side. And skin is pulled apart a bit. Any preferances?

Pfract

???? talk to your doctor asap?

6inchcowboy

Well come to find out after talking to my doc that my sutures were absorbable. But recently just messed up, it's been 3 and a halve weeks since surgury and have had rigid erections and it looked pretty damn straight. Well the other day I went to my girlfriends house and got each other roused up..did kissing and fondling etc. We didn't have any form of sex but my man down stairs got a little to happy and got rock solid and out of no where my body decides to clinch my pc muscles out of no where and I felt a quick bursting sensation and felt like literally something sliced through my ding dong. Went to the bathroom in horrific pain and was scared. After that happened I'll get rigid erections but now it's back to the way it was before I had the surgey . Same curvature and everything. I fear I just messed things up and the whole thing is a failure. I've tried calling my doctor but he takes literally a week to get back to u through his nurses. And am still waiting for the call. Has anybody else ran into this problem of a bursting sensation upon a rigid erection making it go crooked again?

yyy

It seems you broke your sutures. The proof is The bending when erect: if it is bent like before you can be pretty sure that something went wrong. Unfortunately The curvature does not lie

6inchcowboy

Thanks yyy for the reply. I recently researched proof of broken suture abd have found that usually if the suture broke that it was cause a blue or purple color visible on the skin of the place of occurence. Which brings me to the question did the sutures break or did it just loosen up a bit? I can't exactly say that the curve has gone completely back to the way it was but is like more of a 20 degrees rather than 25 like it was before. I just have subconciously supress tmy pc muscles from clinching while fully erect now. Especially when I get waken up in the mornings. It has clinched again since then and let me tell you it feels like it tears a little each time it happens. The doctors stacked up right now am waiting for a spot to schedule with him Asap.

yyy

It all depends on what you see now. If the curvature is not totally back it means you broke only part of the sutures.

Pfract

Why people take chances like this is beyond me....  But I guess we all mess up. :-\

6inchcowboy

Practice how else do you suppose I could be gotten this fixed? This surgury was suppose to be the most effective way to deal with this
What other ways are truly effective?

Pfract

I am talking about hanging out with your girlfriend knowing you could of jeopardized the whole process, which apparently you did....
