Hi guys, I just finished six months of traction with a phallosan forte as of august 2.  I gained an inch in length and a half inch in girth.  My dents have mostly filled up and erections have moderately improved.  Overall, I'd say its been a success so far. What I want to ask though is about results going forward. Ive heard that the first six months of traction are when you make most of your gains and after that, progress greatly slows down. What do you guys think?

So areas where you had indentations have returned to normal? Could you expound on this? The indentations are usually caused by plaques "tethering" good tissue. Do you feel the plaques to be smaller, or do you think the tissue has simply stretched to compensate for the tethering?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply Nemo. I think they've probably stretched. I'm not sure it's possible to grow new tissue but simply reshape the tissue you have? I don't understand the science of it enough to know.  But yes, i had indentions on both sides of my dick and they are mostly filled up. I do feel that the plaques have been reshaped to an extent but there's no scientific way to prove this without an ultra sound or something.  I would like to note that I haven't seen a lot of improvement in the bottlenecking towards the base of my penis which is concerning.  The top part of the underside of my penis is thicker and narrows as it gets closer to the base.  Also Nemo, do you know if the plaques replace the healthy penile tissue? In other words, is that tissue gone forever or if the plaque was removed would my penis return to its normal shape?

My understanding is that a plaque is like concrete poured into a wire mesh - the mesh in this case being your normal tunica tissue. The collagen grows amongst the fibers of the tunica and can't be separated, just as you couldn't get concrete out of the wire mesh, so they have to just cut the plaque out in total and graft in new material.  Or in the case of Xiaflex, the drug essentially "eats" the collagen, leaving the original tissue more or less unharmed (if it works correctly).

Congratulations on your success, and thanks for sharing the info.

Yikes, that's great but I'm not sure many guys can do that many hours per day. I know I can't.
