Have any of you guys tried stem cell + PRP treatment for ED? I dont mean the BS therapy provided in the US, which only involves growth factors and not much stem cells. I mean the REAL stem cell therapy given outside the US.

I think the problem about stem cells it the fact they are 'sold' by anyone, but just a few medical groups have the ability and the expertise to manage them properly. This landed us to see many people complaining about their useless treatment, and claim 'stem cell are useless'. As far as I know, I believe they instead have a huge potential to regenerate tissues and turn demaged tissue into healthy. So, if I were you, I would try my best to get in contact with wake forest university. They are at the top in the field of medicine regenerative and we have a witness here of a man who had dramatic condition practically healed by a procedure done there. Of course, this was performed in Mexico, for the reasons you already know.

I've had three PRP injections (5 cc each time) for ED at Wake Forest, and have seen positive results each time. The results weren't outstanding, but still positive enough to continue treatment, especially considering this is the only treatment with lasting results that I have encountered.

Given the success I've had with PRP, and the ease of which it's administered, it amazes me that not more urologists are trying (or have even heard) of prp for ED.

The Dr. I saw said that one of the biggest hurdles for stem cell research are the federal regulations that prohibit much of the necessary lab work with the cells. PRP injections are legal because they fall under 'bedside' treatment (the blood is draw and re-injected during the same appointment). However, sending the cells to a lab, and then injecting them at a future date is illegal.

I'd also love to hear of anyone's experience(s) with stem cells for ED specifically. Because if stem cells do indeed regenerate better than PRP, I think it could very well be a cure for some.

Maybe the reason that not me and not most of the forum members had no lasting results with PRP.

Hi, I have a medical practice here in Boca Raton, FL and we've seen great success with the priapus shot prp injections. We've seen that all men respond differently with some deriving more benefit that others. While koolx is right in that prp is not the same thing as stem cells, it attracts stem cells to the site of injection. It also helps the penis grow new capillaries and blood vessels which help circulate blood throughout the penis and thus helping men to achieve stronger erection. We've seen that with each additional shot the effects are compounded. While not the holy grail of ED treatment for every man, we've definitely seen it do wonders and help reduce someones need for drugs to enjoy a better sex life. We made a simple infographic to help explain the process which you can see here......... [Sorry, commercial link removed]

Dr. Bruce Stratt,

Welcome to the forum and I trust your intentions are to truly help men suffering from Peyronies Disease. Please understand that we get many new member wanting to help, when in reality they are trying to sell or promote a miracle cure. So forgive me for being skeptical and coming across as doubting your intentions.

I did remove your link and here is the primary reason. I couldn't find anything related to helping with Peyronies Disease. We are interested and monitoring possible progress of Priapus Shots. But this site (along with many others) markets towards most men's biggest weakness, male enhancement. The chance to become fuller, better lovers, etc.

If anyone is interested they can contact you via a private message.

No harm meant by the link was only hoping to share my observations and help everyone better understand the science behind the procedure. Since PRP has been shown to have regenerative properties in healing damaged tissues in other parts of the body we are looking forward to any new light science may shine on it's use for peyronie's in addition to other therapies that can provide our patients with safe and effective results. I'm looking forward to becoming a more active participant in the forum! Thanks.

Sorry for the "cold" welcome.
We just got a few medical doctors that started on the forum and then disappeared when they got to conclusion that this forum is not a good marketing field. This is the reason of the suspicions.
Hope from all my heath you will be different as we don't have any doctor that people may ask some questions :)
