When I take viagra or cialis my erections are straight, and the strength, length, and size are what they fully use to be an normal.

But without taking any of these kinds of drugs my erections are weak, shorter, smaller/thinne start curving downward and to the rightish a bit on the way to full erection, have very tiny reddish blood vessel things on the shaft, and have premature ejaculation.

Now if this were peyronies, wouldn't the ED drugs exaggerate, or exaborate the symptoms of it even more so? Like with pain or curvature due to extra blood flow? I mean if you have peyronies dont you still notice all the same shortening, curving, pain even with the ED drugs?

What's this sound like? I dont understand how I can see and feel nothing wrong or no difference with my erections when taking the pills, but without I have problems.

Please help with some info guys. I appreciate all of you and even though I'm still undiagnosed I can still feel your guys' struggle. Thank you.

I would encourage an official diagnosis.  What you are describing does not sound specifically Peyronies Disease.

I have the same problem, let's say almost.
If I can get erected (very rarely) without Viagra, the erection is weak, the bend, up banana shape curve is more accentuated and I can't get to the size what remained after Peyronies, 5 & 1/4.
While erect on Viagra, the curve and bend are still there, but I get the length above and much more girth and stiffness.
My explanation is that more blood pressure and quantity stretches everything inside. So what you are detailing sound logic to me.
I am sure (I think you also) that you have ED, the drugs are coming to help.

Yes...Peyronies Disease complicated by ED.  Overcome the ED and Peyronies Disease is inconsequential at his level, or so it sounds.  If he doesn't overcome the ED though, the Peyronies Disease could become worse...as the scarring could solidify if not stretched regularly.

ocding

Inconsiquntle? Dont know what that means. At my level? I'm not that advanced with the big words. :( Yes I have ed problems aswell but I thought that since those drugs bring me back my original demestions and size then this might not be peyronies?

So confused  :-\ I mean if you have peyronies, you have it with or without ed pills correct?

ocding

Do you mean manualy stretching my flaccid penis? Or stretching it through erections?

God what do I do.. I wish someone or something can just come and save me :-\

james1947

If the question is to me ocding, I don't mean manually stretching.
I mean that blood flow and blood pressure to the penis is stretching the penis.

Yes the ED pills help a lot and when I take them I notice nothing wrong with my erection.
I get my normal same length and size erection with the pills and they are perfectly straight.

Without them is when I notice weaker and shorter erections and slight ventral curving but just on the way to erection not with full. But without them I also have PE and it usually happens right at full erection.

Can peyronies be on the tube or in the tube underneath the penis? I thought it only affected the CC?

All my life I had slight bend to the left while flaccid, arrow strait when erected.
That until 6 years ago when Peyronies stuck. Also ED started progressing slowly.
Together with the ED, I started having also PE. Viagra is helping me with both.
I think that such condition as you are describing have nothing to do with Peyronies.
I suppose that the slow way to a full erection without Viagra or Cialis brings you close to ejaculation.
In my opinion, you should see a Peyronies specialist, make an ultrasound to see if have plaques.
If don't have plaques, very high probability that you don't have Peyronies.
You can also make an ultrasound in erect state to see if have some venous leek that causing ED and PE.

I suppose I should be more specific as to who I am addressing.  The OP, ocding.  He describes some Pyronie's like symptoms when partially erect, so the likelihood of some plaque present is fairly high, or at least the early development stages.  If he can get a handle on the ED, the Peyronies Disease may never actually develop into an issue.  Some of the things discussed here may help in a preventative manner.

ocding

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually already have an appointment in July in Chicago with Dr Levine. How can one get a handle on ED? You mean by taking ED pills? Or by going the natural way and just sit back and let my own body do its own thing on its own in time?

I can feel and see a small lump when flaccid only, if I dig around in the skin at the end/tip of my penis on the under side on the corpus spongiosum near and on my circumcision scar. I dont know if it's always been there or not. Does or can peyronies develop on corpus spongiosum? the tube that holds the urethra?

When I kegel and inflate my corpus spongiosum, this spot/ lump is right on it and sorta fades with inflation/erection. I cant see it with an erection. I guess ventral curving is when it involves corpus spongiosum?

The one thing I would NOT do is NOT get full erections.  Since you seem to have what sounds like some Peyronie's like symptoms when not fully erect, if you do not get fully erect often, it can get worse.  By get a handle on the ED, I mean a few different things.  If you are a porn user, back off...it can cause a certain level of ED.  If you have access to the various erection enhancing pills, "judicious" use of such is probably not a bad idea...key word being "judicious"...if you artificially stimulate to an extremely hard erection, it can cause additional tearing, which can stimulate more scarring.  I would look at the various supplements suggested here as a place to start with nutritional support of your penis as well.  Anything which can mitigate further scarring at this point is probably a plus.  Hopefully your urologist will be Peyronie's aware, and be able to at least help you figure out what is going on.  I'm still pretty new to this myself, but these are my thoughts on the matter as you describe it.  Perhaps some of the more senior members here have additional input?

ocding

went in yesterday to see a local urologist in my town and showed him the spot on the underside of my penis at the tip near the glans and he said that it wasn't peyronies, scar tissue, or plaque.(although all he did was a physical examination/palpation, is that enough?) I asked what it was and he said maybe a vessel or a thrombosed vein. It feels firm / hard. but I don't see how that can cause erectile dysfunction which I'm having. he wasn't a Pyrenees expert but he said with Pyrenees the deformity and curvature stays consistent with erections and isn't near the glands (ive heard and read different, or could he be right?) but I'm not sure how true that is if you're in the beginning stages of it. and with me it only sometimes happens with semi erections but I still get straight erections but they just aren't as strong/ hard / long. so I don't know if that means I have experienced shortening do to peyronies or shortening due to bad / lack of erection quality.

my flaccid stretched length is still the same as its always been though. And some have told me on this fourm that that means iv still got it just am not getting good erections. How good of an indicator is the flaccid stretched penis length when talking shortening due to peyronies? How soon after would someone lose there strehed flaccid penis length if they were to get/have peyronies?

And ive asked already but, is ventral curving due to peyronies on/in corpus spongiosum? Or is peyronies not found in that erectile chamber? And only CC?

Thanks for your time guys.

ocding

Any of you guys know if penile mondors disease can cause erectile dysfunction?

james1947

I will try to answer you ocding, from what I have learned on the forum.
Non of the things your urologist said are (corrected) true. Peyronies comes everywhere in the penis, in different shapes.
A simple advice, find a Peyronies specialist close to you.

Thanks for the reply James. You say none of the things he says are true or not true? Forgive me I'm just not sure I understood right. The spot I have that I showed him is on the underside of my penis on the corpus spongiosum near the tip/glans and is white in color. I was reading lymphangioscle can be that color and can feel like a hardened fibrous lymph vessel.

Is there a certain color to peyronies plauqe?

james1947

Sorry Ocding, I wrote and unnecessary "non"
Corrected in the previous post.
What I mean your urologist have no understanding in Peyronies.
No certain color for Peyronies plaques.
As a summary, you need a good urologist/Peyronies specialist to diagnose you and start treatment.

Yes thank you for the reply James I have an appointment already scheduled in Chicago with Dr levine.

How exactly can porn cause a level of ED? I was unaware of this..

Any of you guys know how good of an indicator the flaccid stretched measured penis length is in showing if you've lost length? I mean I was told by a couple members here that if it's still the same as its always been you've still got it or still have the capability to get it, but just wasn't sure how fast it takes to lose that along with erect length if you were to have shortening.or if they go side by side. I dont understand how that works.

Anymore info on this or personal experience from you guys will be very greatly appreciated thank you

kuaka

The whole concept of Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction ... PIED ... is debatable still, but the crux of it is two fold.

1. The use of porn to excite is no different than the use of some drug to cause an effect, and desensitization over time requires additional/more extreme versions of same to get same results.  The "high" gets more difficult to achieve.  "Normally" stimulative things such as a "real woman" become insufficient to induce an actual erection or sexual excitement.

2. The visual presentation of a new potential mate is its own reward, all be it a small one...but...with the introduction of high speed Internet delivery, the repeat presentation of a new potential mate every few seconds can cause the "new" to be the reward as opposed to the follow through of the "mating".  This can also divert the mind to where excitement is only achievable through repeatedly presenting "new" potential mates.

These are the basic theories behind PIED.  The most successful "fix" is to quit porn altogether, including masturbation and orgasm...(a.k.a. PMO)...cold turkey...for a period of time to allow your mind to "rewire" back to a natural neurological and chemical response to the opposite (as your taste dictates) sex.

This ties to Peyronie's as part of the problem is that as a man becomes desensitized, not only is more quantity or exotic variety of porn required to stimulate, more physical pressure is as well.  This can cause repeated micro injuries to the tunica which in turn cause a "healing" response.  Once the manipulation is ceased for a time, this healing response can build up as scar tissue and become a Peyronie's plaque...at least that is a theory, and one I consider potentially valid at this point.

That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.

ocding

thanks for that Kuala,

Did you lose legnth? And if so, did you also lose the same in stretched flaccid penis length?

Jonbinspain

Ocding;

Shortening of the penis occurs firstly because the plaque stops the the Tunica from expanding to its normal full size. The plaque also interferes with the flow of blood into the penis. Both of these factors will contribute to a shortening effect.

kuaka

Ocding,

Yes, I have lost some length...both flaccid stretched and erect.  Since my Peyronies Disease is "classic" top side curve, the length lost is on the top.  I have managed to see some improvement in degree of curve through my traction/VED/Supplement program for the last couple of months, but overall length is still less than it was.

ocding

therefore you wouldn't be able to stretch your flaccid penis to its normal full size/length either correct?

kuaka

Yes, the plaque interferes with the length, whether the length is from erection or traction.  Traction actually pulls on the plaque, and that's when I know I have it tight enough.
