Looking for advice on pre-surgery
My urologist has done dozens and has explained it would be day surgery no catheter and has not mentioned ultra sound before surgery.
My next visit would be to show him pictures of my upward bend and make a surgery date.
Looks like my insurance will cover most of the expense.
i have had peyonies for 16 months.
Any advice on questions I should be asking the dr on my next visit
Thanks in advance

As I know, the surgeons are not basing themselves while operating on a picture you are taking.
They will induce you an erection, make all the necessary measurements and signs.
I hope his experience of dozens surgeries had good results.
Many leading surgeons have 100ts surgeries per year.

I would suggest the following:

1. Ask what your curvature is now.
2. How much improvement to expect
3. What procedure will he/she be using
4. What are post surgery expectations/timing
5. What are the risks?
