Here goes my "balls to the wall" plan...Traction, VED, Supplements, Avoid things

The cheapskate here again.

So far, I am now doing limited traction therapy with a home made traction device and VED therapy with home made VED cylinders (almost finished building the "medium" one..."large" and "small" were easy).

As of yesterday, I've added...

Vitamin D3
Vitamin B6
CQ-10
L-Arginine

I've also added aloe vera jell as the lubricant to use with the VED.  I figure I can probably get SOME transdermal absorption.  I also use coconut oil for its skin softening characteristics.

I have a little left over Androgel which I will use a small amount of in that mix as well.  My Testosterone treatment (low T) has been switched to the monthly injectable Depo-Testosterone, which is much more affordable then the Adnrogel, and more effective.

I have dropped all use of the chondroitin/glucosamine supplements.  I was not using them much for the last few years anyway.  I was a daily user of it for about 15 years due to bilateral osteothorosis in the knees.  It worked in that I am not in a wheel chair (which I was before starting), and I don't have knees that sound like rice crispies when I walk anymore.  When I learned that it may contribute to PDS...well, I wasn't happy.  My left knee has been driving me nuts all day, but I'm just going to have to do other treatments until I get this PDS under control.  While I know tobacco use is contraindicated due to oxygen depletion, I have and will smoke a pipe of natural tobacco once or twice a month as it is anti-inflammatory and stops my knee pain...depending on what is causing it.  I have to gauge if it is overuse, pollution or weather.  If weather, the pipe helps.  Otherwise, not.

Yesterday was the first day with D3 and B6...which unfortunately upsets my stomach...but I'll just have to get used to it.

Best of luck, I'll be interested to read about your progress.  Especially the mechanical devices (traction, VED) which I think are much more likely to have an effect.

I have modified the supplements a bit.  Went to Ubiquinol vs. CoQ-10 as I am over 40...  Found a body builder's supplement which is citrullene maleate, l-arginine and taurine (taurine is not necessarily Peyronies Disease related, but is not bad to have anyway...dietary taurine is a major difference between peoples who regularly live over 100 and those who don't).  Too much and I get a headache similar to viagra, so I know it is doing something significant as far as circulation goes.

So far, I seem to be having some progress with the traction/VED combination...

I have to say Kuaka that you building your own devices is pretty impressive. Have you had any new progress since your last update?

kuaka

I'm having to adjust the levels of the supplements.  The Nitrulline supplement was giving me headaches...similar to what Viagra does.

I've also run out of Cialis and money to get more.  All, and I mean ALL, of my money and then some is going these days to medical treatments for my daughter.  She was given 3 months to live...6 months ago...so it is working.  We are almost over the worst hurdle on that, and once that is reached, Cialis goes back into the mix.

That said, based on my therapies, I appear to be making a bit of progress.  I am staying pretty much with the small cylinder for now, as straightening is my primary goal.  While not ALWAYS, I can get a pretty full...and evenly full, except for the curvature...erection.  I don't believe overall blood flow is a physical issue for me, so the larger cylinder...what I call the "free Willy" size...is not of much use to me for now.

Girth is increased slightly...my wife even noticed that the last time we attempted intercourse.  Curvature still there, and too great to complete intercourse still...will be measuring soon to determine any progress.  Pain almost nil.  Morning wood is more than before, though still not 100% consistent...but then I wake up and pee a couple of times a night.  The deeper I sleep, the "better" the morning wood, and the more I need to go when I get up...but I believe that more or less normal.

With the graphics programs I have on this computer, I will be able to superimpose pictures of my penis and do a more precise progress determination, even if the actual degree measurement is inaccurate.  All I need to do is take another picture from the same angle.  I have already kept a background-erased picture and will be able to layer it on top of a new picture for comparison.  I may share those later in the appropriate area.

Sorry to hear your daughter isn't well Kuaka. That's fantastic that she seems to be doing better than the doctors have anticipated. I truly hope that she continues to improve in health.

About the increase that you have had in girth. Have you recovered back that increase in girth due to peyronie's? Or have you just gained it? Either way it sounds like you're seeing improvement which is fantastic news. Hopefully when you see a comparison from your old photos you will see improvement. No matter how minor progress is, progress is progress.

Increase in girth is as opposed to before Pyeronie's even.  I've dealt with ED to some extent for a few years, and the old scarring from the original accident has been a point of minor pain with full erection for three decades...so a "just hard enough to use" erection has been my "normal" for a long time.

You have stated:
QuoteGirth is increased slightly...
To what of the treatment component you are atributing that?

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.
Got amazing support on the forum

Are you taking your D3 and B6 with food?   I like the liquid form of D3 that is in an olive oil base.

D3 needs some fat for best absorption.  Best taken with your largest meal of the day.   B6 is good at night as it helps with sleep.  Amung other things.

Goodluck.

kuaka

Increased girth is probably NOT related to my traction therapy.  I believe the Pentox/Cialis and VED together contribute to girth in my case.

The D3 I'm taking is a gel cap...liquid inside a small capsule.  I usually take a whole handful of stuff after breakfast.  I do the second dose of Pentox in the evening...not necessary with food.
