So, the doc injected in 8 (total of 10 cc's)different locations today...5 under the "cord like" plaque running the length of my crank and in 3 other locations...and all I'll say is, sweet jesus I hope it yields some results as he only used a topical numbing agent. That was perhaps the worst pain I've experienced. He said next time (if there is one :)) he'll use a Novocain "block" so I feel nothing. So, we'll wait and see. Yes, as expected...it appears fuller and hangs better already, but I don't really care about that. I'm interested to see plaque and curvature decrease...I'll let ya'll know.
Also, he said it was ok to pump tonight and moving forward but am a bit concerned about "washout" as I think I remember reading about on another thread.
Any feedback would be appreciated...

Wish you successful outcome.
Regarding the pumping:
* Some says the best is immediately to better spread the PRP
* Others says the best is starting pumping after a few hours not to wash it out as you said
* Others says don't pump at all, let the PRP spread alone.
Tried all of them.
How much you paid for?

thanks for the feedback James....question, did you have multiple shots in each session? If so...was it somewhat excruciating at times?

james1947

Yes, I had multiple shots each time, including directly into the plaques.
The doctor used just numbing cream and injected 20 minutes later.
The needle pinch was nothing serious pain wise, but I have to mention that I have a very high pain threshold. Sometimes small cuts I even don't feel. :)

Just a quick update, I had the PRP shot almost 2 weeks ago now and did notice some reduction in "hardness" in some areas but overall, the plaque and curvature are the same. I've been fairly diligent with the VED but haven't used traction in quite some time now. Side note, I actually had sex...twice over the weekend with a new gal I've been seeing, it was quite uncomfortable and almost painful at times. I believe (good and bad) the fact the I still get very firm erections means there's also a very firm curve which I'm starting to realize doesn't "fit" the anatomy of a woman very well.

Ketric, in my case even though I saw positive results within 48 hrs., the sweet spot was really 4-8 weeks. I can't remember the exact time when I could no longer feel the plaque any more but it was probably 2 months at least. As for VED, I believed that this helped a lot after the shot. Always try and pump when erect. Not an easy task with a severe curvature. I used borage oil as a lube as it's supposed to help with inflammation because of high GLA(gamma-linolenic acid). Just my two cents.

Something new regarding the PRP results?

Hi Ketric,

I also have a cord-like plaque, more like a guitar-like cord going through the shaft of my penis. It does not hurt, but you can see it is really hard, and I would not be surprised if it has to do with my penis in flaccid and semi-rigid curving to the left since the cord gets super hard.. In my case is so small in diameter, that I dont think an injection would be possible. I think it is around 1mm. How thick was yours? And if it is a cord, the cord usually is a long cord...how many places of othe cord are injected with the PRP?

Thanks a lot, and good luck with the recovery!

Hi James,

I will do a search on PRP to see results on forum members. I am planning to do stem cell+PRP, so reading about the results would definitely help on my decision.

I read it did not help in your case. Sorry about that man. If I ever do the stem cell, I will inform here about results as well.

Where are you going to do stem cells??
31 yrs old
Severe congenital curvature. 3 straightening surgeries
Big lump/stitch w/ left deviation after 2012 surgery
Severe ED after last one in 2014. Still crooked
Slightly improved w/ shockwave therapy
Looks like only one side of my penis works

Krazylord - I too have a cord running laterally left, about a centimeter wide.  I always had congenital curvature but to a slight degree, never an issue.  Peyronies Disease kicked in about 6 years ago with a 33ยบ bend.  I had the first cycle of Xiaflex 3.5 weeks ago but no improvement.  Have one more chance in a few weeks, but no more opportunities after that as my insurer is quitting the state (Florida). The cord is palpable in the flaccid state, but very difficult for the doctors to inject.  I had thought soft plaque was an advantage, but now no.  They can't get the needle in it easily.

Right now I have appointments with Dr. Lander and Dr. Zahalsky, and need to decide which therapies can help more to my hourglass, my Peyronie's plaque, my guitar-like cord and my loss of sensation. After that, I will take a decision.

Hey yyy,

I am going to see Dr. Z on March. I will discuss with him the procedure, and will have it if recommended. I will post here all about my symptoms and results.
