Guys,
just purchased one of these traction devices, and it doesn't even stay attached to my penis. If I wanted the gland to stay attached to the device I'd have to tight it so much that blood wouldn't flow correctly.
It's just that the fact that none of my doctors prescribed me PTT, and didn't recommend it, and I only know about it from no official websites instead of medicine department of university hospital sites, makes me wonder if that's just another way to take money from desperate people like me.
I'd be very pleased if someone can show me a proof that PTT has positive results on himself.
Cheers

I and many others on this forum have had positive results from traction therapy, but as to showing you proof... not many are comfortable putting those sorts of pictures on the internet even if they had taken baseline photos.

What brand device did you buy? Maybe people here can help you sort out using the device in a more successful way.

Ok, thanks. I've read some opinions already, but you never know when the writer is related to one of these online shops, that's why I want to get as sure as possible of it's safety before starting, since it's not FDA approved.
I bought extender pro new in ebay, only, costed 13 £. It's also weird thing, that many stores sell the same device for 200 €, how can such a piece of plastic cost that?

I bought my pro extender from a local shop for $35. The shape, attached CD, the box, booklet and marks similar to the original pro extender sold for 200 Euro.
If it is really original or not, I don't know.

The premise of the device is simple but getting it to work for you is not always.

One big difference between the cheap vs expensive is the quality of the noose or strap. The more expensive ones will use softer silicon that will grip via friction and pressure not just pressure (means you can have noose looser while maintaining tension).

But if the holes are the same size maybe you could just buy the softer silicone noose.

Always test the tension of your springs btw, make sure you know how much tension your penis will be under at each mark on the device.

As to huge price differences, sites like Aliexpress are having a huge impact on the world of commerce as they have allowed small players access to the giant Chinese manufacturing capabilities.

I have to use a flat piece of foam wrapped around the head of the penis to get mine to stay in the device.  Otherwise it slides out.

Noway

you really need to spend the money and get a good one.

Ok I have a couple questions...a I'm considering taking the plunge and trying traction.

1-  can it be used while sitting and driving in a car? I guess I always thought you had to standing and free hanging but I guess not as it stretches no matter the position.

2-  what happens when you get an erection?! Does it adjust as u get erect? Or do you want to avoid getting erect.

Thanks for the help.

skunkworks

Never tried it in a car, might work but using brake and accelerator might cause a bit of discomfort.

If you feel an erection coming on, take the thing off. It won't adjust and you might get hurt.

I would not attempt traction with a "normal" device while doing anything physical...the one which captures the glans with vacuum and pulls with an elastic strap should be good for anytime use.  The LAST thing you want is injury to stimulate more scarring.

penisstraightener

depending on the device, a lot of people have been using mods to help keep them fitted properly. You may want to look into this a bit more.

Gents,

Have any of you experienced post-traction pain? I've been having acute phase pain, while trying to initiate an ongoing program of traction/VED (I have devices for both.)

Had a good day pain-wise on Sunday, so did a 1.5 hour traction session Sunday evening. Then had a bad pain day yesterday - hard to get through the workday. But you wonder if the AP pain is independent or partially a result of the traction session. I skipped it last night due to the pain.

Also wondering if there is a guideline on how far to stretch for traction effectiveness. I'm about 3.5" flaccid, and I stretch to about 5" for traction. Too far? I don't think I'd want to go further, but also wonder if the traction would be effective without an adequate amount of stretch.

It does not feel uncomfortable while stretching at that amount (X4 labs unit), and I've not noticed any bruising or discoloration afterwards.

Thoughts welcome - thanks.

If you are experiencing post use pain, it is definitely not a good sign.  Do NOT stretch is that far.  Pain means injury.  Injury means more scar tissue.  At least that is my opinion on the matter.  Your mileage may vary.

Thanks Kuaka. Like others on here, trying to strike a balance between not enough and too much tension. I decreased the length last night, and feeling OK this morning. We'll see how today goes.
