Hi I'm sixty years old , and for about a year my penis has had a tender spot whether flaccid or erect. The pain was tolerable until recently when having sex with only a 70- 80% erection .After visiting a local doctor and having an ultra sound done the results are as follows ;  slight thickening of tunica mid shaft which could be seen as peyronies disease
Findings - intact appearance of corpus Cavernosum  ;corpus spongiosum appears normal ?
mid shaft there is minimal thickening of tunica overlying the corpus cavernosum which does suggest the possibility of early fibrossis.
No discreet mass or calcification noted.  Tunica otherwise appears normal .There is no soft tissue lesions noted.
There is normal flow noted within the cavernosal artery.  dorsal vein is normal.

The area of concern is approximately 3cm wide by 3cm immediately behind glans.
. It is now about 7 weeks since painfull  intercourse  event .There is minimal discomfort when flaccid, and some pain when erect.
As there is still some pain I think I'm still in the acute stage ? It looks like there may be a 15 degree tilt upwards from just behind the gland. As I have slight dupuytrens contracture near my little finger, [for about 8years ],and have had 2 frozen shoulders (collagin tissue contracting, repaired with arthroscopic surgery 15 years ago )I'm probably genetically disposed .
I have read your most informative introduction and think I would like to try the L-arginine and the phosphodiesterase and ubiquinol.
Psychologically ,my stress levels dropped enormously after telling my wife and receiving diagnosis.

Urologists  with this specialty seem difficult to find where I live .
thank you and any advice is greatly appreciated

As difficult as it may be, you really do need a definitive diagnosis. "Could be Peyronies" isn't really enough. It goes without saying that, just as with any ailment, you can't begin treatment until you're sure what you're dealing with. However, it does sound as if it could be Peyronies.

In the meantime, anything that increases blood flow to the penis will help. Citrulline Malate ( rather than Arginine)  ALC, low dose Cialis - around 5mg per day will help. Ubiquinol is good for general health, anyway. If it is Peyronies, Pentox would be one of the best weapons available. However, it will be very difficult to obtain without a prescription.

The Citrulline & ALC, I would recommend buying in powder form. It's cheaper and both are easily dissolvable in water.
