I've got congenital curvature however over the last day I've had a dull ache on one side of the shaft near the base, I'm not saying I think I've contracted peyronies, it probably comes under 'random aches and pains' though I'd be keen to hear how it all started for some

I sometimes get an ache following an erection, like over exertion. This only developed after the curvature appeared about two years into the disease. The initial stages of the disease evidenced no pain at all unless the sites of the lumps were prodded or squeezed.

I had another incident where during intercourse where I "popped out" several times.  Since about the second day after my penis has been very painful (again) and also my testicles...  I have a hot or burning feeling in the tip and also a lot of pain throughout the day.  Sitting is horrible right now.  I went to bed 2 hrs earlier than usual just to have some relief.  Now, I'm starting to see curving to the left... How soon did you guys notice the curving after symptoms appeared?

I read somewhere that Dr. Mulhall did a study to determine the occurrence of Peyronies Disease in men population and witnessed hat 1/3rd of the men with Peyronies Disease did not know they had it. I think his data estimated that prevalence of Peyronies Disease is 8.9%. Having said that, Peyronies Disease may (or may not) show itself quite differently from person to person.

For me, it was what I now know to be the classic onset of Peyronies. Pain when getting an erection, which disappeared when flaccid again. The plaque and the other associated symptoms came later.

My Peyronies started after injury, light pain for two days, no other symptoms.
Slowly slowly, during 3 years, up curve, left bend and ED, 2 calcified plaques, 3 hourglasses, lost 6.5 cm length, half of the girth.
Started VED, Pentox, low dose Cialis, the hourglasses disappeared, plaques softened, gained back 1.5 cm, some girth, some improvement in ED.

Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.

Interesting responses guys. It does amaze me how varied the symptoms and effects are between individuals. On a side note the slight ache I experienced for a day has disappeared

I experienced initial pain in October, woke up in December with a plaque block mid-shaft. I have some deformity occurring, hourglass, no bend at this stage but I suspect that hinging is beginning.

Painful erection.  After being erect a few minuets the pain went away.  But pain only when erect.  I think the scarring makes the balloon in your penis smaller and its not adjusted to the smaller size causing the pain.  The bend happens as a result of your penis adjusting to the scar.  This is how it all seemed to me, sorry for not using the correct medical terms.  Breaking up the scar or calcification lets your penis go back to being normal.  The pain went away and about a month later I just woke up with the bend.

side note, in my 2nd round of xiflex injections....
