 Hello everyone.
As you may probably know, my penis is bent towards right (app. 25-30 degrees), and also a bit towards me. The thing is that on the internet I found many images and information about Peyronie's, acc. to which the curvature is usually the same side with the plaque itself. The only thing is that in my case, plaque is in the left side, while curvature is in the right one. Is this possible? Thanks!

I also have the same thing with 30 degree curve, but guys here think I'm most likely genital curvature.

What you are describing in your post is an other sign that you may have congenital curvature and not Peyronies.
In Peyronies, for my knowledge, the curve is always in the direction of the plaque.
Maybe the plaque is start of Peyronies and it will straiten out your penis?
If it is Peyronies, you should start treatment.

James, so in congenital curvature, plaque is on the opposite side?

I thought of it being congenital, but for some reason in the past year the angle seemed to slightly increase. There are sometimes pains if I have a lot of sex. And the plaque itself varies, like sometimes is very rough, sometimes is soft.

I couldn't find a doctor here who could tell me what I have. How can I find out whether it's congenital or Peyronie's? An ultrasound will help?

I started Pentox and I'm thinking about buying VED as well. Maybe low-dose Cialis as well.

Maybe I expressed myself wrong:
In congenital curvature usually have no plaque. What I am saying is that if it is Peyronies, the curve/bend will be in the direction of the plaque.
An ultrasound will help to tell if you really have a plaque or not. By the way, it not must to be a Peyronies plaque.

The thing is that I saw a doctor last week, and he told me there is a plaque, but he wouldn't make me an ultrasound in order not to take me extra money, cause the plaque is small.
What do you say about this?

I think of having an ultrasound anyway at another doctor.

james1947

If you have the money, worth doing an ultrasound. At least you may know what you have there.

i d definitely go for an ultrasound if i were you...

Leitmotiv

The thing is that after having sex with my girlfriend I can feel the plaque. If I don't have sex for some while (2 days), the plaque seems very soft/almost gone.

I will do an ultrasound. Do I need to do dopler or an usual one? P should be in errection or not?

And a question about Pentox - when should I see the first effects? If it's congenital than the treatment is usueless right?

NeoV

Your "plaque" sounds like lymphocele, not Peyronies.

How one can distinguish the two? Are distinctively different in symptomps?

Leitmotiv

I hear about "lymphocele" for the first time. Is this condition worse than Peyronie's? any treatments?

Does it involve curvature? Because I do have curvature.

Last year I saw 2 urologists, both said they don't know if what I have is Peyronie's. The doctor this year said it might be Peyronie's. I know we have bad doctors here, but wtf? It sucks that they can't tell me what's wrong.
Also, I noticed that in errection when having much sex I seem to have a small orizontal thing like a half of a ring under my glans. It's rather rough and I can even see it.

Regarding Pentox, if you don't have Peyronies you don't need to take.
Regarding ultrasound, it is made in flaccid. Erected is to check venous leakages, you don't have ED so you don't need.

James, I don't know whether this is Peyronie's or not..

Leitmotiv

Btw, guys, from your knowledge, can this "plaque" that I feel on the opposite site which sometimes hurts a bit during sex, have smth to do with cancer? I'm reading all kind of stuff on the internet about this from of cancer and I feel some sort of anxiety.
I got a new a appointment to an urologist on Tuesday as well as one for an ultrasound.

NeoV

Penile cancer is very rare, and usually originates ventrally in the urethra. While anything is possible, a lump under the skin of the penis is very unlikely to be cancer. Do see a urologist and if it is only a lymph vessel, give your penis a long long rest an try anti inflammatories.

Leitmotiv

I've got the answer from LWillisjr regarding the curvature angles.

It seems that the curvature towards right is about 25 degrees, as far as I remember this has always been like this.
The curvature towards me is 37! degrees, this is the one which seems to get worse.
I also lost some width, the low half of it is thicker than the high half.

The plague being on the center-left and the curve being on right is strange. But can the plaque be the plaque which causes it bent towards me?

LWillisjr

For the upward curve then the plaque would be on the top side.

I really don't think this has anything to do with cancer.

Thanks!
But the only plaque I feel is on the center-left side, I mean center is on the top side and it goes to the left.

The only thing that scares me is that this 37 degrees upward curvature seems to progress. It definitely got worse over the past 6 months. Can it get worse if there is no plaque ?

Leitmotiv

A small update : I am very scared, today, for the first time furing the intercourse, when my dick was getting hard(when it was in the intermediate "stage") the angle looked like almost 90 degrees. When it got hard, it came back to its normal angle (37 up and 25 to the right). Why did that happen? I'm very scared.

Skjaldborg

Leitmotiv,

Most likely, your scar tissue is pliable. This means that when blood flowing to your penis is at lower pressure (when you are first getting erect), your scar tissue doesn't stretch much, resulting in more curvature. However, as the pressure and blood flow to the penis increases, the scar tissue begins to stretch and your penis gets straighter. I have a similar issue and it's not a big problem.

Leitmotiv

Hello!
I have an update regarding my problem.

I had my ultrasound today.
As you know, my penis is curbed 25 to the right and 37 upwards.

The plaque I feel by hand and which sometimes hurts after intercourse is on the center-left side. Which, is strange, given the curvatures (to the right and upwards). Also, my penis is thicker on the left side, where I feel the plaque, than on the right side.

I had my ultrasound today and the doctor found a plaque on the dorsolateral?! left side, 0.74/0.35 cm, and he says it doesn't seem to be a tumour, since it has no own vascularisation, and it's most likely to be some sort of wound I had in the past. He named it "conjunctive tissue".
Tomorrow I'm seeing an urologist.
What do you guys think of this?

NeoV

I'm sorry to hear that. Your symptoms sound exactly like Peyronie's, and the ultrasound seems to confirm it. I don't think there is much to say.

Please check out the treatments and start it up! Sooner the better!

Leitmotiv

Thanks! I have to deal with the situation, like all the guys on the forum.
I started Pentox on the 6th of January. I also want to buy a good VED, which costs quite a lot, given the fact that in February I have to pay the tax in the university for the second semester. Maybe I can buy one in March-April.

But don't you guys find strange my plaque location, given the curvature?
And another question: from your experience, the plaque itself 0.74/0.35 cm is a big one or an average or even small one for Peyronie's?
