Hello All, I am 48 and retired USAF, about 7 weeks ago when have normal sex with wife, I felt a small crack or pop in my Penis. It was not painful nor did I loose my erection. My penis has always been straight and still is now. After about two weeks when I would get erection the underside of the head would hurt real bad and a lot of the time It would feel like someone was sticking something sharp in the very tip of my penis, I could make this go away sometimes by adjusting myself.  My doctor said I should see a uro and it was hard to get a appointment but got one late in the day. Doctor walked in, I told him this and he said I had   Peyronies Disease. He looked at me for about 10 seconds and even though there is no curve or plaque, he said there will be. he gave a 6 day prescription for steroids and said I will live, because he has had it for 26 years now.
I was in shock. Came home to read about it and that did not help me get out of shock. Don't really know what to do. Tried to make a follow up and it is a month away. Have not tried sex in any form for a couple weeks, scared to make things worse. My nuts hurt a lot now but that might be from the lack of sex.  Any ideas on what to do or not to do would be great.  Would like to have sex with wife again but about a month ago everything worked but underside of penis hurt real bad. Good news is my morning wood does not hurt as bad as it did a week or two ago. Thanks in advance and from what I have read so far this is a great sight.

Your doctor is not accurate and you need to see a specialist as soon as possible.

Consider the oral therapies and physical therapies. CoQ10/Ubiquinol, ALCAR, Pentox, low dose Cialis, traction, and VED therapy.

Neo is right. Your medic seems to know little and care even less. See a Urologist ASAP, preferably one who specialises in treating Peyronies. It may not be Peyronie's, but if it is, it needs treating and quickly.

You are not the only one that encountered incompetent/don't care doctors.
You may find a Peyronies specialist close to you here:

You are in the beginning and this is the best time to treat this disease.

Thanks for the info, this was a Urologist that told me this, but I will try to see someone else asap. I am on Tricare prime and I just need a referral. Don't understand the click I felt or the pain I have now, but the pain did not start to about 10-14 days after the click. Thought the Urologist would tell me more. He said he has had Peyronies Disease for 26 years so again I thought he would know what he is talking about. Pain has been in different places in penis since this started.  Click was deep inside, then came pain when erect under head.  then in very tip, most of the time. now feels like a pulled muscle in left side deep inside. penis does not hurt to touch or turn or mildly twist. do not feel lumps any where and still no curve, but still do not want to test with full erection due to pain in the past, would seem to set things back a couple days. thanks again for help.

Find a COMPETENT urologist ASAP. The guy you have seen sounds very bitter and sorry for himself. He may have Peyronies, and he may have given up on improving his situation, that doesn't mean you should. Don't let his negative attitude drag you down. He should frankly be ashamed of himself.
