Hi All, 30 years old, uk user

I have had lifelong ED, not overweight, all hormones normal apart from low igf-1 and high SHBG.. Testosterone etc is fine. I have had lifelong ed which I put down to porn usage, however I have cut that out and problem still remains. I'm worried I may have venous leak or peyronies

I have soft glans when I masturbate and when I stop stimulation the erection disappears, however I do get morning erections, does this rule out venous leakage?

Viagra, cialis, levitra, muse.. all don't help in sex session and I have even tried pde5 inhibitors with alpha blockers, no luck.. I have tried all ed meds plus trazodone etc I was prescribed caverject by nhs

When I inject caverject, even as high as 40mcg.. I don't get an erection even when cock ring is put on, so annoying.. it stays semi hard then disappears.. I don't understand why this is as I get nightly erections

I have taken citrulline, arginine, vit c, vit e all the erection boosters.. I'm thinking maybe taking viagra before bed too. Anyone tried HGH/HCG for this? I have a ved which I use 20 minutes a day at 3hg

My main question is how to  get diagnosed on nhs, any tips on what to ask for? I was referred to urologist who gave me erections, I'm going to go back and tell him they didn't work.. and wondering which angle to take?

obviously there is no cure to venous leakage, so should I push for a scan or ultrasound of penis?

In my opinion, from what you are writing, I am tending to think you have venous leakage, but I am not a doctor.
Best thing is to get an ultrasound in erect to check the subject.
QuoteTestosterone etc is fine
Regarding Testosterone, check out the range for your age, you should be close to the upper side.

me too, thats my thought

when I use papaverine I do get erect, but not 100 percent but it lasts 2-3 hours so maybe caverject is problem

if it is venous leakage, theres no cure right?

mlc2010:

There may be some form of surgery to correct venous leakage but to my knowledge they are few and far between. Do some research on the web about the subject to see if you can find some information about it.

If you will after your research and do find some information or do not find any report back on the forum with what you info, if any you find, etc.

In the meantime, ED and/or venous can be tolerated by using a medical quality VED and use a cock ring to hold up your erections. This method is being used by many guys on and off the forum.

I will be glad to help you with coping with venous leakage. Have had it since the age of 55, now 85. Sexual activity for me is no problem. Send me a PM (private message) and I will work with you on this.

I will just add that as Old  Man wrote, surgery for venous leakage is very complicate and have low success rate from what I am reading. It not means that it is impossible.
An other option will be an implant, but if you will be able to do with a VED and ring as Old Man said, don't need for a very intrusive surgery of an implant.

Thanks Old man, I wouldnt get an implant yet, I have so much to try, I will push for an ultrasound etc

I know venous leakage can be caused by low testosterone levels, I have normal T levels but High SHBG, and maybe my years of ED has done some atrophy. I'd probably try a trial of testosterone therapy/HGH to see if it improves

I will also start with 50mg viagra before bed as it cannot hurt to have more blood flow. I have a ved which I use during the day, I notice that when I use the ved, my glans turns blue/purple, this is only after 5-10 mins of usage, any idea?

I might also try with the extender/traction device, and use caverject/papaverine injections every 3rd day, the more bloodflow the better

after a year of this, if theres no improvement then id have to consider the implant

I seems to me 50 mg Viagra daily a too high dose. In my opinion daily Viagra dosage should not exceed 25 mg.
You may want to try also 5 mg Cialis daily as most of the people are getting better results with it.
