hello everyone,

so it seems i got peyronies since 3 weeks and i want to react as fast as possible. thinking about getting a VED but i am a little unsecure if i should start in this early phase or wait it out, (as your common urologist will advice ..)

do i worsen the condition if i start now? do i go for traction instead?
my doctor said that the medication for peyronies are all humbug and i just have to wait and see and operate if it gets worse..

I started my own treatment now with chlorine dioxide and coconut oil, since these two substances helped me before with a rare autoimmune malfunction that couldnt be treated by school medicine..

so thank you guys for any advice and all the info i ve already gotten on this board.

i hope the best for each and everyone of you/us..

NeoV

Personally I recommend VED and traction as early as possible so long as it does not aggravate an injury. Old man has experience with this question and will probably be able to answer in detail. I think the answer you're seeking is already on this board.

Light VED is beneficial because it brings oxygen rich blood into the penis, reducing hypoxia and therefore fibrosis. Traction in the acute phase should help it heal straight in my opinion.

Welcome to the boards and hope you get some improvement. The drugs and supplements are not BS as they've been shown in quality studies to help reduce plaque size and curvature.

thank you neo and thanks to old man for getting in touch via pm..

it is a lot of work to read through the forum but i try to filter what  works for me and i ll probably get a VED, not know what model to go for yet..

also there is a guy that has a website called something like "thesexualhealth" or so.. he tells his story about his peyronies and recommends traction in combination with enzymes..

I ll post the link soon.

here is the link to the website i spoke of

The Sexually Healthy Man

i am not promoting anything. It just seems to be an honest thing he does there apart from many sites that just want to sell you there magic cure.

..and i post this to get some oppinions of the forum members here, since many of you seem to be veterans while i am still sort of in a shock, having the symptoms for ca 3 weeks.

Surgery is the most expensive and risky treatment, also the most profitable for your doctor.

I'd start ASAP on low-risk oral supplements that have been shown to help: at the very least Acetyl L-Carnitine and Ubiquinol or CoQ10 (depending on your age).

I also agree with NeoV that traction and VED are more likely to do good than harm, especially if done gently.

One thing to keep in mind is that this disease tends to evolve over time, so it may be impossible to know what your treatments are doing at this time. If you stay stable, you might think that what you're doing isn't helping, but you could still be preventing it from getting much worse.

In one area, the doctors are probably correct - it takes time to figure out where this disease is going. In 6-12 months you may stabilize at your current level of deformity, get worse, or self-resolve (unlikely, but it happens). Given that, I'd put all of my efforts now into making it *not* get worse.

by the way:
does anybody know dr.herazy and his alternative peyronies treatment programm?
as might imagine i am googleing the s**t outta this at the moment..

Dr. Herazy is a scam. A successful one.
Make a search on the forum regarding "Dr" Herazy

so I did.

sorry to bring him up again. I got a serious information overload at this point.

back to VED: has anyone experience with pentomet or the bathmate? coulcnt find much about those two on the board, i somehow feel like trying one of those hydropumps.

There are a fair number of posts on Bathmate. One of the things that puzzled me about this forum for quite some times is that the Search function only searches threads in and below where you are. If you want to search the whole forum, click the Home tab before entering your search term.

If you do that before typing in Bathmate, you'll get quite a few hits.

One of our members, Melting, uses the Bathmate with hot water in it: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,915.msg59279.html#msg59279. It's sort of hyperthermia and VED at the same time!

read it of course, still putting together a therapy seems a personal and individual thing so forgive me for asking all kind of stuff..

Zero need for apologies, we're all in this together.
