Hello forum. Thanks for reading my post. I am going to present what has been instrumental in my betterment of peyronies and what I believe should be tried by everyone who has the condition. I have not seen what I am writing about here been covered on the forum.

This is offcourse highley anectdotal and from one guy, and there is much done at the same time so it is hard to single out the cause and effect. But I have no reason to misinform any of you. I have peyronies, and I feel better and I want everyone else who suffers from this to see gains and improvement aswell. What I am writing about is a diet that has worked for me, a vitamin supplement that has worked for me and a form of breathing technique and cold shower therapy that sure as heck has improved my blood flow and circulation problems and therefore penile health.

I am not cured, by far, but I have gained significant results as of late with these "alternate treatments" and I am interested in sharing them with this forum as I hope that someone else might see results in their condition aswell. There is quite some text, but I recommend reading it. What has helped me might help others and nothing would make me more happy.

Backstory (You can skip this if you want)

I have CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and problems with low grade chronic inflammation, stomach issues and food intolerances. All started after LOTS AND LOTS of antibiotic at the age of 16-18. Slow wound healing. Damage to penis at age of 18-19. Low blood circulation, loss of erection strength and sensation and increasing curve has been my problems after this. Pain on erection. You know the drill... Peyronies..... Self esteem has been so low that I have contemplated suicide so many times that I have lost count. I have been able to have sex, but with so much less pleasure and with shame from my deformed and weak erection. I am sure you relate.

RECENTLY, I have started tackeling my penile health issues in a new way. A month ago and some days ago. And I have already seen results, so I feel bold enough to share what I believe to be the reason for these with you:

To sum it up I will write here about what has helped me improve in what really is a very short time. All points are about increasing blood circulation to the penis.

1.Diet
2.Vitamin K2
3.No pornography/mastrubaton
4.A "speical" breathing technique and cold showers


1 DIET:

I have stopped eating what I am intolerant of, milk, grains, sugar (I think this one is REALLY important in inflammation and peyronies), eggs. Replaced what I cannot eat by fish that is sea caught, meats, vegetables (lots and lots of).

I see improvements in my inflammation issues, and therefore also in penile health and circulation. I see this covered already in this forum by some users claiming benefits and I cannot stress this enough. You are what you eat, and your food is your medicine. Get enough vegetables and greens, replace trans fat and everything that you feel cause problems for you. The part about removing stuff from the diet is offcourse individual, but the introduction of greens and veggies and removal of sugar should be mandatory for all users..

2. PORNOGRAPHY:

I am sure many have seen the "NOFAP" trend and some might even be sceptical as mastrubation is a good way to increase penile blood flow. Even still, my nocturnal erections have returned (they were almost totally gone when I mastrubated to porn) and feel stronger, I am more sexual and I notice sexual signs from girls and women in a totally different way now than before. I am more horny when I have sex, and this alone is for many a big reason for a part of their erectional disfunciton - desensitation of the mind to sexual cues, it takes more to get aroused = less bloodflow to penis, more ED. Remember when you were 15 and saw a picture of a naked lady and had a boner for an hour? Yes hormones and youth (and the fact that we didnt have peyronies yet) but also the fact that your brain was naturally wired to the natural thing. I am positive this helps, as my penis feels more.... activated when it is soft than when I am in a chronically low libido state from gluttony to porn. Walking around in a chronic state of feeling horny from just watching girls on the street is helpful, as every drop of blood sent to the penis is healing. I think being in this state all thetime is better than having a boner from mastrubation now and then.

3. VITAMINES:

Yes, this is not so alternate but still: K2. I have not seen this vitamin been covered here before and I have just recently "discovered" it. There are studies done that seems to indicate that alot of the western population is low on this vital vitamin. It has been suggested that stomach bacteria makes the K2 the body needs from K (found in spinach and greens), but this might not be so true other studies find.

Vitamin K2 is ESSENSIAL for good arterial health, if you lack it the body deposits calcium in the wrong places, and it seems to be able to (in some studies I have read) prevent and even reduce arterial calficication... Isnt this good news for us!? I think so. If you eat alot of calcium rich foods and lack this vitamin the situation is worsened for us with peyronies as the excess calcium is deposited in soft tissue rather than bones and teeth.  Read more about K2 and try it (in the Mk-7 form). I really really and really believe it has been helpful for me, and I felt results mere days after starting it. I think you have to combine it with regular vitamin K, which also is important to cardial health (I get my K from greens) but I suspect that it in itself is SO helpful. Please, I would love to hear other users of this forum try this out. It is cheap and there is nothing to loose and potentially so much to gain.

4. THE WIM HOF METHOD: Breathing techniques and cold shower theraphy

The technique really just boils down to: 1. Increase the oxygen amount in your blood by a special breathing technique 2. Take a cold shower/bath immediatley afterwards to stimulate your body to move blood around more efficiently.

Read this with an open mind, but please read it.

There is a guy who either has an exceptionally good immune system, or a good one that he has developed after years of doing a particular meditative technique and yoga. I believe the latter. He can immerse himself in ice water for long without drops in body temperature (this is very unusual), he runs marathons in snow with shorts and barefeeted and he was tested at a hospital where he was injected with some strain of bacteria which gave him almost no symptoms. Regular people become very ill from this injection.

Claimed results from this which havebeen measured by doctors in clinical settings and by experimental methods:

Better blood circulation, lower inflammation grades, better oxygen transport, more testosterone, better immune function. "He is just unique" you say. Well, the results also seem to be measured in total random group people who have learned the technique aswell.

I have tried this for two weeks and I am POSITIVE it also helps my peyronies situation and circulation. Everything that increases bloodflow, oxygenation and lowers inflammation is good. More testosterone is not excactley bad for penile response and health either.

Especially the part about the breathing excercises has been interesting for me. In the beginning days I felt so much tingeling and nibbling all around my body when I did them, almost like constriction. Also had loud tinitus and feeling like I was going to faint. As the time progressed it felt as if the blood moved more efficiently when doing the exercises. I dont get these symptoms any more. Might it be a sign of better movement of blood? Blockages cleared? (a bit vague but who knows, really).  

I am nothing but positive this can be included in the treatment of peyronies. Cold shower therapy has been in use for thousands of years, and the meditative breathing excercises done before hand is nothing new either. It is the combination of the two which is interesting here, and the concept of the body becoming stronger for each cold shower, increasing the smal l veins of the bodies and their ability to transport oxygen and blood = Who with peyronies would not want this.

CONCLUSION:

Its a broadsided attack on the condition and many factors might be at play, though my results are so severe in a positive way that I am confident that there is something to much of what I have written that can be generalized to others.

I am so much more positive now and my depression has totally lifted - because I feel results and my penis in a way that it has not felt since before my injuries. It is not cured, but it is so much better and I feel hope. My penis feels like a penis should feel. I know this for a fact because I had bisexual relations with another man once and when I felt his penis I instantly became depressed because it felt like my penis used to feel before my injuries and forced bends during sex. It was kind of soft, not hard as mine were, he was soft and hard at the same time.

I am glad to tell you that my penis feels the same as his now. Not all there where I used to be yet, not at all, but my penis is soft and hard at the same time. Before starting what I have talked about it was just hard. Hard erections. Now it feels as if there is a new layer around this hard erection. Alltough the segment of the penis that lies after the injury point and outwards to the glans still is hard, the penis as a whole feels so much better. The glans is bigger. I can only attribute this to an increased blood flow. It has only been a month, but I have no reason to doubt that improvement will continue. I guess faith in your ability to heal is an important factor in it self.

I fully agree with your 100% no pornography rule. I allow myself only infrequent masturbation and the difference is amazing in my erection quality, both hardness and straightness. My flaccid is much more healthy and has less problems as well. Most importantly, now that I take breaks, I can now binge without getting inflammation, whereas before masturbating two days in a row would ruin my penis, now I can do it without problems. Personally I have to reduce frequency at least initially till things calm down and I get out of a cycle of inflammation it seems. I still consider Peyronie's to be at least partly an overuse injury, and I am also a big fan of yourbrainonporn and yourbrainrebalanced. VERY helpful and an aspect of penile health not many men are willing to consider. Nofap is another story!

Vitamin K2 I will try, I have a decent amount in a multi I take. I think somebody did mention a correlation with K2 and CoQ10, was it George? If you are not taking CoQ10 or other Peyronie's supplements, do it! I hope you are treating your symptoms with other treatments as well.

I used to take cold showers, mostly on my lower body to cool off my penis, seemed to help last year if only because it kept the inflammation out. Not too sure how big of an effect if any it has on testosterone. One thing about cold showers is it seems to really activate all my nerves in my body, and afterword my body is almost ringing in response to the water for minutes or even a while after I get out. I think it's a good thing to do when your brain is over stressed and fried from too much stimulation. It gets you into your body and get's the blood moving around.

My reduction in the size of my calcified plaque began when I combined colcichine and vitamin K2. I can't say for sure if the K2 contributed, but I stopped taking the colcichine after my 6 month prescription ran out but I haven't stopped taking k2. I've talked about the vitamin in other threads.

Roy Hobbs that is great news! Happy to hear that you also attribute some of your sucess to the K2 vitamin. I must have missed your posts on K2 but I guess a good thing cannot be said enough.

NeoV, thanks for replying! Lots of things there that made me think. Totally true that abstaining from pornography is hard for many, it has become like sugar for us, we think we need it but it is actually just the overstimulation that our brains are adapted to seek with no though as to the negative consequences of said stimulation. I can relate to the inflammation from overuse! Never thought of it as anything but now I see it in relation to the peyronies. That internal penile pain could I occationally feel at the age of 16 even, way before any damage during sex or other issues of deformity/ED arrised. Perhaps it can be a precursor or a sign of potential for penile problems in a person. I dont know. Perhaps there will be studies on this, it is an interesting thought. I am not familliar with CoQ10 NeoV, but I do take the general vitamins and omega 3 oil. I just ordered l-arginine and Acetyl L Carnitineā€Ž for trying those out and to see if they have more benefits.

I see that you are Japanese NeoV. The best source of K2 seems to come from Natto. That is from where the supplement I take is synthesized. Fermented food seems to be the only viable natural source of this vitamin around. No wonder many people lack it, and why it feels totally ignored by many. If you regularly eat this and like it you might save money on the supplement. I havent tasted this but it sure seems interesting.

About the testosterone boost from cold showers can I not counter with any scientific facts of much strength. But my anecdotal evidence is that I myself have gained depth of voice (it is darker) when I do cold showers. Cold Showers And Testosterone: Theory of The Cool Gonads This link has some interesting thoughts about the functionality of the testes in different temperature ranges (a study seems to have been done on it). If the testes as the site on the link claims increase efficiency at lower temperatures then this might be a cause of increased testosterone after a period of cold showering, as the testosterone is produced there. Should have done blood tests on this.

I am interested in K2 because I still theroize that Peyronie's, or at least mine, is purely vascular, and what causes bending are the veins which stem from the two arteries, which go under and wrap around my penis and urethra. If you have read my improvement post you'll see that I used to clench my PC muscles to an extreme degree during sex, which caused my penis to bend afterwards and ache. Now I have huge veins that I never noticed before, which appeared when this disease started to get bad at 24. They clearly connect to my penile arteries or two veins that go into my body on both sides. I may certainly have scar tissue of course, and hopefully I'll find out in the first week of September.

Endothelial function is extremely important for the penis if only because it prevents hypoxia and therefore fibrosis. I take Pycogenol, check that supplement out it has a fantastic profile. Many of us also take Arginine or Citrulline as well. CoQ10 also is very potent, and like ALCAR was shown to reduce plaque size and improve penile artery function. I recommend you check out the Iranian CoQ10 study, the results are phenomenal. Check out the entire CoQ10 thread.

A recent study also showed that D2, not D3, improved endothelial function.

I will consider taking K2 at least as a trial.

I am not Japanese, I'm from the US but live in Tokyo. Natto is really cheap here that's true, and I haven't been eating much. Again I believe on the CoQ10 thread K2 and Natto were heavily discussed. I'm forgetting who brought it up.

Hey Neov I have to add that adding sunflower lecithin at 1200 mg 3 times a day significantly improved my penile touch sensitivity and its much more elastic after just 3 days of usage..

Hello again everyone. A small update from here and a little something that I hope that others can see results from aswell.

A couple of days ago I discovered by mere coincidence that doing a certain form of stretching excercise that stretches the groin - caused increased bloodflow to my penis. Needless to say this made me elated and quite quite happy.. What triggered my positive emotions was the fact that I was not thinking about anything sexual, neither was I stimulating myself. I was just sittign on the floor stretching and I felt blood flowing into my penis and it growing quite like when you become horny. Doing this stretch does not make my penis erect, but 10/10 times it makes it stiffer and fuller. The stretch is a VERY simple one, and it stretches the groin area and the muscles that lie just around the penis on each of its sides.

You see. As we have talked about Neov, peyronies as perhaps caused by or atleast worsened by vascular problems. I suspect the same in me. 3 years ago I started having flat erections. Yes, totally flat. My spongoisum dit not fill properly, only the sides did. I suspected this was due to a prostatite infection or irritation of some sort as I have had probems with urine stream and never properly beeing able to empty. It has been coming and going. I havent seem to grasp control of this symptom and sometimes diet has been helping and sometimes it has not helped at all.

BUT, looking back I see it differently. I started young age to tighten my pelvic muscle as I was about to cum when I masturbated, as to not having to clean up. I did this for years. And first now do I see the connection it has had with my penile problems. I have had problems from my pelvis area for a long time, even BEFORE starting to develop peyronies on my shaft (after injury). I suspect that these pelvic area problems have caused less than optimal bloodflow to the top of the shaft where the peyronies now sits.

For ME atleast there is something in this stretch. The last couple weeks I have had a really bad case of these flat erections. I have nocturnal erections, but only on the sides. But the two days I have been doing this stretch my penis has defenitley been fuller. It fills faster. I have not changed anything else in my regime. Therefore I have to share this.

How to Do Bound Angle Pose in Yoga

The stretch seems to be called "Bound Angle Pose" and it is so simple that all you do is sit on the floor. Just look at the image and you will see. I hope someone else here can do it and see if they also feel increased blood to their penis.

For me this is from now on a part of the solution to my penile problems. So much has changed these TWO days. For instance, my tendancy to cum at once I am fully erect seems gone with the wind. This has been a problem for years for me and is clearly linked to the tight pelvis floor. My erections are better. Still painfull, and a bit too hard. But much better than what they was. And I dont need to stimulate myself to stay stiff now either.

The reason that I am sharing this is that there might be others that have tight pelvic floors and perhaps are unaware of it? Atleast you should try this stretch for a minute no matter what and see how you feel.

Stretching the legs and sitting in the squat position in the shower help me a lot. I recommend any kind of stretching. In the shower I squat deep with the hot water on my penis or on me and deep kegels followed by reverse kegels with deep and controlled breathing. Strange as it sounds, it reduces the deformity and the kegels make the penis fill straight rather than bent.

Regarding your yoga stretch, I look forward to trying it tomorrow. I meditate so I may be able to do both together ;)

I should mention that opening the legs seems to help with blood flow in any case. Even in bed lying on my back opening the legs makes the penis feel better.

As you know my problems also originate from intense pelvic clenching to achieve orgasm. Things are getting much better and I can finally achieve hard erections without clenching. Sex without clenching feels amazing and I no longer have a bent penis afterwards.

I appreciate the update a lot man!

This is insane man, and i love it. I have acid reflux aka Lpr. So i devalop really pore diet, i try everything for that and now i am on veggies only, but as far as i am concerned cold help me with flacid penis a lot. I am still bend in erect stage. Can i come in contact with you somehow to share some experience. Aldo doing wim breathing is good, for me it provoke reflux, and i cant handle
