Hello. I suffer from bottle neck Peyronies. The good news is there is no curve, the bad news is that the head does not get sufficient blood flow so my sensation and erections are mediocre at best. Oh and of course the loss of about 1 of length. Unlike many, I actually know exactly what caused my peyronies.... I had hernia surgery and they banded the catheter on so tight that I had a solid black/blue ring around the head... then 6 months later in the same spot.... peyronies. Too bad the good Dr. passed away shortly after......

I have met with a Peyronies specialist at Cleveland Clinic and they basically said the only thing they have seen to have reasonable success is Vepramil injections. I guess I just wanted to see if anyone with bottle shaped peyronies had any success with it? Its a 4 hour round trip once a week not counting the cost so i want to feel some what optimistic to do it.

Is there any chance that using the vepramil might fix the plaque on one side, not the other and create a curve? Is it even worth trying the gel first? I have tried the old vitamin E (topical/oral), pump, etc. with no success.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hfurt:

I strongly suggest that you do some real hard research on the thread/topic about verapamil injections. There is a wealth of information there = good and bad.

In my personal case, I had a bad effect in that my Peyronies Disease increased rather than being subdued. Each and every injection gave me a nodule and/or plaque formation that took much therapy to reduce.

However, some members report good success, so before you plunge in to what you say might prove costly for you, check it all out first.

Old Man's advice is as good as it gets! Injections pose risks, but do your own research.

My main symptom was hourglassing or bottleneck deformity. It went away almost entirely with downward stretching and VED.

Not too many success stories :(
