I've had Peyronies Disease for four years now (currently 23 years old). In the past few days (about 3-4 days now), I have had the most acute episode of discomfort (bordering on real pain in the last 48 hours) for the longest period I can remember. I've had the feeling before but never for this long a continuous period.

It's hard to describe, it's not exactly pain per se, but quite an amount of discomfort, almost a weird "whooshing" feeling that I can feel in my penis at all times when flaccid.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean it is progressing again? Is it a new attack? I'm in dire straits here, and very scared. Any advice from anyone? What medicine can I take aside from Ibuprofen and Vit. E? Please help!!!!! I've no idea what caused it, but my best guess is it's because of the fact that I've been cycling to/from work everyday about 12 km for the past week and a half which I wasn't doing before. I masturbated once on the night it started, maybe that made it worse.

For more details of my Peyronies Disease history/situation please check out my previous post.

Thanks!!!!

You have this disease for 4 years and have done nothing to fight it?
I am not surprised that you are again in the acute stage.
Go on Pentox, low dose Cialis, CoQ10 and VED as soon as you can.
Pentox and CoQ10 helps and helped many with the pain and with the reverse of the Peyronies symptoms.

Age 71, Peyronies from Jan 2009 following penis fracture during sex. Severe ED.
Lost 2" length and a lot of girth. Late start, still VED, Cialis & Pentox helped. Prostate surgery 2014.

James -

I know you're not a Dr. and I shouldn't seek medical advice here, but you're saying I'm definitely in the acute stage again? There's no way I'm having these symptoms in the chronic stage? Thanks.

Update - I just called my doctor and they're totally booked until next monday (1 week from today)  :-\ :-\ :-\

How much can it progress in that time? I'm in a bit of panic here!!!

Thanks,

Some doctors are saying that the acute stage is 12 to 18 months, during this time the disease suppose to stabilize.
It is a wish, not a reality fact in my opinion.
Myself had an acute stage that lasted 30 months, stable 6 months, acute stage again for 6 months than stable again.
While in stable stage the acute stage can start again and the symptoms worsening, especially if no treatment.

Modified: One week is not crucial in my opinion, but you can start CoQ10 immediately.
