Gp thinks I have peyronies

I am 55 years old and just within the last 8 weeks I have a lot of pain at the tip, and the base on the left side feels soft. Not much curvature (as some pictured here), but more pronounced than it was. I haven't taken anything for it yet. I have an appointment in August for a urologist.

Firstly, get an earlier appointment, if you can. IF you have Peyronies it needs fighting ASAP.

Read everything you can on this site. Arm yourself with as much info about this disease as you can. Seeing a Urologist is one thing, what you need to find out is if the guy is a Peyronies specialist. Many are not! There is an encyclopaedia of knowledge here - use it! You need to know who you're dealing with when you see the Uro. And don't be afraid to ask questions.

the uro might say that you have to wait with treatment which is totally wrong.
