My lady was out of town the other night & I wanted to see what effect Pentox & Cialis were having on me. Long story short, I ended up having a colossal wank (gxxdamn you, internet porn - I'm powerless to resist thee!). It wasn't particularly rough or vigorous, just lengthy (excuse the pun).

Got up the next day feeling slightly tender (though no more than I usually do after sexual activity) & whilst heating/massaging my wang in prep for my daily VED session noticed that I could retract my foreskin, but when I did so, the lower half of my shaft "squidged" up - almost like it was made of putty. For a moment I panicked because - after running my finger over it - I thought I had caused a plaque to form overnight; but then realised it was possible to smooth it down. If I had to explain it, it's almost as if there's just an abundance of skin there with nowhere for it to go.

A couple of days on, the situation doesn't seem to have improved. Anybody experienced this before? I have been able to use my VED as normal, though I'm wondering if I might be wiser to lay off it for the time-being...

The skin on your penis is very elastic, it is meant to be able to 'squish up' as you say. Are you not usually able to retract your foreskin?

I must not have explained what I meant very well.

Yes I can usually retract my foreskin, no problem. The problem I'm having is that when I pull my foreskin back it's like there's masses of skin further down my shaft (i.e. from the base to mid-way) which is all kinda folding up into a big squidgy mass.

It would seem that a section of my penis is swollen... though it doesn't appear that way - visually at least. No difference in size, or discoloration.

I do believe there's a gland that can get blocked/irritated which causes the penis to swell up, & prevents you from retracting the foreskin. It can be caused through over zealous use of a VED so I understand, or following overly vigorous masturbation. I had that on one occasion some time back.

This is similar to that... only it appears only to be the bottom half of my penis, & is visually non-apparent (or, not so much that my eye can detect it anyway). My dick seems to be a little tender around that area as well (as opposed to just below my glans as usual - where my plaques are)... though this may be because I'm panicking & keep checking it every 10 minutes to see if there's been a miraculous recovery lol

Ah I see what you mean now. Masturbating vigorously can certainly put a lot of stress on the base of your penis. I would suspect that such a long session was probably not the wisest move considering you have peyronie's, but I can totally understand your motivation. You've probably just caused some mild trauma by overdoing it. I'd give it a few days with no VED or excessive/rough masturbation, avoid sitting with your legs crossed and maybe take some anti-inflammatories for any discomfort you might have.

I am not a doctor, and a diagnosis shouldn't be made on these forums, but my personal opinion is that,

It's most definitely edema. No worries, take a break and it will go away and so will the tenderness below the glans, which is simply lymphocele. Both of these are common after VED and result from vigorous masturbation or sex.

Edema makes it seem like you have extra skin, it bunches up, creating creases at the base when you retract your foreskin. It can make your glans seem soft and at it's worse produces the "doughnut effect". Google penile edema and lymphocele, it's common and requires long rest.

Stop the VED right away, lymph problems simply can't heal while you use it. I've had my edema for almost a year and still have lymphocele, it is very annoying.

Make sure you actually have peyronies. Lymphatic lesions are too often mistaken for plaques. I have to apologize, since I don't know your history, but do get an ultrasound and see a specialist if possible.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Glad you responded NeoV - I recall having read something you posted about a similar sounding issue before which had resulted from excessive pressure when using your VED.

Mind if I ask why your case has gone on for so long? I'm fairly confident mine is the result of masturbation, as it's happened before - way before I learnt about VED (& I *think* I'd be getting on ok with the protocol),  but I'm just praying it goes away swiftly so I can resume use of the VED, as I've found so far that it seems to be helping me manage my pain a bit. The "bunching" seems to have subsided a little now, though the tenderness remains (though tbf, I'm generally tender in the area anyway - something the VED helps to keep in check, as I said).

The plan is to wait a few days more & see where.I'm at come the weekend. Hoping I'll be back to "normal" by then...? (though I'm doubtful this'll be the case in the knowledge your case has dragged.on for so long!)

Pretty confident of the peyronie's diagnosis btw, as my plaque is constantly hard, whereas I think lymphatic legions tend to be soft until you're erect (correct me if I'm wrong with that though!). Also, I don't think they cause the penis to curve?

NeoV

I don't know why I still have it, but I have pain where a hernia typically is, so I think the VED caused a hernia which is leaking fluid into my penis. My abdomen and penis have been slightly numb since this started and I have noticed more edema even in my feet after sitting for a long time. When it started even my hands felt like rubber as if they were filled with fluid. Whatever happened, common or not, was awful and I'm still not recovered. It will be a year in September unless I'm mistaken. I told the best Peyronie's uro in Japan said he had never heard of penile edema (LOL) and every other uro I see here just won't even look, they tell me to try antidepressants! Japan is simply TERRIBLE, and I am fluent in the language and can use medical vocabulary just fine.

Anyway, now that my rant is over, I have no idea if lymphatic vessels can become hard, but I did read in some journals that they may be able to scar over, or maybe that was regarding veins. Either way, it doesn't seem clear what exactly IS possible when it comes to the penis. Veins and lymph may very well be able to cause bending and torsion. In the end an ultrasound is the way to go.

From what I hear lymphocele and edema can take months and months and you have to stop all sexual activity cold turkey. This is just from googling around.

NeoV........It might be that the Edema is not related to your Peyronies and the VED.  You may need to start taking Water Pills to get rid of the Edema.  And, Potassium supplements Must be taken after taking a water pill because your body will lose potassium.  You might want to ask a Doctor about getting some Water Pills to get rid of the Edema.  Dandelion Root has a slight effect in getting rid of edema if the water pills are not available.  Just a suggestion....dplookin

Jesus NeoV, I'm inclined to agree with dplookin - that doesn't sound healthy. I do send my best wishes to you & hope that you're able to resolve the issue, as I worry that you have some more serious underlying problem causing your problem to be so widespread & drag on for that amount of time.

Thank you again for the responses, all going well, I hope to resume use of my VED this week - though obviously I'll be playing it by ear as to how things are come Monday. Fingers crossed a week of rest will have done the little fella some good.
