My penis curves 30 degrees down and 5-10 to the left Please help

Hi,
I'm pretty sure i have a congential penis curve. My penis used to stand up straight measuring 7 inches long and curving a little to the left. But my dick got thicker and now curves down 30 degrees. My shorter side seems to be like 5-6 inches long and my longer side (one on top) 7 inches. The only method used to help natural curves appears to be the nestbit operation. I really do not want to loose 1-3cm of my penis. That would ruin my confidence. Please can anyone help this is ruining my life. P.s i'm 18 living in the UK.
I'm also seeing a urologist in a month but i really want to find out about it... i can't sleep and it's making me feel very depressed.

Traction or manual stretching. Worked for me to straighten out the curve.

If there is no scarring or anything wrong other than one side being longer than the other, just use traction or stretch by yourself. Be very careful, and note that this is just one member's opinion.

You may want to see a Peyronie's specialist. Regular urologists don't know anything about Peyronie's. If they see a young patient come in with some bending they will no doubtedly say "that's not Peyronie's", just as they did to me. 5 years late I ended up with a lot of deformity and obvious signs of the disease. Don't wait, locate and visit a true specialist and get an ultra sound or his opinion on why you may be curving.

Dr kuehhas is operating in the uk at the moment. Book a consultation with him, he performs the stage technique who allows you to straighten your penis with a lost of only 3to6 mm. Before that, He will make sure that yours is congenital and not peyronies

I heard the stage technique makes you loose only 1mm per 10 degree of curvature. That would be amazing. Nesbit you can loose 10-30 mm. Is it as safe as nesbit? Anyways i guess i will speak to him about that. Can i have his email to contact Dr kuehhas?

Also i tried manual stretching which has given me a blood clot and i think has given me some dents in my penis. Also the middle of my penis was always thicker... it seems to be the same girth as my base. Although i think thats because my base evened out because of the jelqing i did. My girth before was 5.8 and i think is still 5.8 so hopefully jelqing against the curve hasn't given me peyronies... as indents and narrowing are 2 of the symptoms of which i did not have before jelqing.

When i was about 15 my penis was 7 inches but pretty thin it curved a bit to the left. Now i'm 17 and my penis girth is 5.8 inches (penis is 2 inches wide base and midshaft) and 7 inches long. I can't remember too much but i've only noticed this curve since my penis has become thicker. When i straighten my penis during an erection the top half of my penis bulges out more. For instance a penis should be straight from the base to the head. On the top side my penis is bigger. I'm thinking this has caused it to curve down.
I have no pain during erections.
I tried jelqing against my penis curve and noticed an indent on my penis after getting a blood clot vein. There is a kind of indent jsut above and below the vein. I think it's drain in blood causing indents. Hopefully it's not peyronies i've never seen it there before. I stopped jelqing due to the vein. I didn't really stretch when  jelqing. I mean the indent is on the opposite side of my curve... hoping i haven't gone and given myself peyronies on the top of my penis... although i haven't experienced any pain so...

People say congenital curves arose from birth but i've heard you can get them during puberty. Is this true?
Can you get peyronies from jelqing? I mean i didn't have any sharp pain or anything... and i did it for like 10 minutes, warmed up but just didn't really stretch much.

NEOV have i got peyronies though? The dents are on the opposite side on my penis curve. Also they are very small like... a tiny dip the side of a small finger print. I can only notice it when feeling that area carefully.

Don't do jelquing, use traction (at least 3h day) and vacuum (at least 20min day) every day for a year to gain lenght in safety (1-3cm)

Well i have never had any pain on the meat of my penis. The pins and needles is a common injury with jelqing of which when your glands are pinched you get a very short slight pain. I've developed my curvation through puberty. I mean i've never badly hit my penis? It curves down like a banana. I saw a doctor today about something else but mentioned my curve and he said it's very rare in people my age and i'm only doing things millions of other boys are doing. I mean the jelqing was very soft... Just rubbing my penis upwards for a bit when i'm 50-70% erect. My dimples are due to vigorous masturbation he thinks and the vein thing is just a vein. Jelqing has made my penis more veiny.
Do you think i should have STAGE surgery on a 30 degrees downwards and 5-10 degrees left curve. I mean no ones got Ed from it... only loose 1mm per 10 degrees of curve.

Yeah i really want the STAGE surgery although i think you need to see a private specialist. The fact that you loose less length and no ED... i mean you'd think NHS would fund that over nesbit but... mines 30 degrees so it's probable not considered recommended :/ God it's going to cost like £4000 or something... i'm 17  how can i afford that? I mean i'm sure my parents will pay in the end but god i will feel bad... At the end of the day if it saves me like 2cm of length and is safer it's priceless...

When i go for my appointment should i lie and say i've had sex and it was uncomfortable... because if i say i haven't i bet they will turn me away and tell me to come back in a years time... also they would maybe cover the surgery with the NHS.

Damn. Glad i've done some good background research.. i swear i've searched more about this then revised for my A levels... My parents will i'm sure were not rich but not exactly lacking a bit of extra funds. Fingers crossed it is congential and i can get STAGE surgery! So how exactly did nesbit ruin you?
Did you loose alot of length/other symptoms? Also what was your curve? I here you need a circumcision but i need one anyways because of severe phimosis.

my complication after the nesbit:

Lost of 3cm
Fibrotic lump
New bend 45° upwards (it was 70° downwards)
diffuse traces of fibrosis in the corpora cavernosa
Chronical swelling and inflammation due to non absorbable sutures
slight ED as a consequence


There are a lot of people with at least some of these complications. it's time to inform ourselves and to avoid this kind of surgery.

I have read a lot of the post on this forum and my general take is that many of the guys who have elected to go the surgery route were generally happy with the results.  It also seems like a lot of the other options such as oral drugs and shots have not been been very successful for many guys.   Regardless of what treatment option one chooses there are risks of complications. One guy posted that Pentrox almost killed him, some guys have caused damage using a VED and I believe Verapamil Injections may have made my situation worse.

If you are going the surgery route you definitely want to use a doctor that has done many of the procedures he plans to perform.

You are saying obvious things but it's correct to repeat them once again.

I'm not against surgeries, I'm against Nesbit. In my opinion surgery is the best way to solve many of our diseases.

There's a statistic between nesbit versus stage technique in which it's clear you will have much less complications with the second one.

Moreover stage technique or similars are performed only by very skilled surgeons like Egydio, Kuehhas, Levine etc.

I was just suggesting the way with less risks, nothing more. I want the others to avoid all the issues I had with Nesbit.

STAGE causes no ED... the suptures dissolve and yeah like yyy said only the very best do it of which have performed many over 200+ i bet operations. I'm trying to contact them but they have not replied yet.

Hey i plan to get STAGE technique surgery to fix my (pretty sure) congential penis curve which is 30 degrees+... but it's donwards. So STAGE seems way better then nesbit. Can anyone give me any information given by the people who do it. E.g i heard you loose 1mm per 10 degrees, is this true? Also i've been trying to contact them through their website but they seem to be late on the reply.
Also has anyone/does anyone think i could get it funded through the NHS (live in the UK). if not how much does it cost?

With congenital one side is longer then the other right? Well with my downwards curve my upperside (longer side) is about 7 inches... my underside is more like 6-6.5 inches. Can you have peyronies and still have the same kind of measurements. Like does peyronies reduce the size of one your sides... therefore you can't really call it congential for sure even if one side is longer.. also like to note my penis is bigger on the upperside, as in has more girth and on the right too... both sides of which are opposite my curve.

The answer is yes, but the mechanism is different.

With a congenital curve it is basically the natural shape of your Tunica. The corpora chambers expand from the inside out, and your tunica expands to the extent it can and what you are left is what would be called your 'natural' curve.

With Peyronies, there is damage to the Tunica. Scar tissue forms and what was once elastic doesn't stretch like it use to. So yeah I guess you could say the result is a shortening as the scar tissue is preventing the tunica tissue from expanding like it once did.

Congenital curves are generally gradual, while Peyronies curves are more acute.

Mine does seem to go down like a banana. I'd like to see a picture of a downwards peyronies curve and natural penis curve that goes down. Although i'll be unlikely to find that i will search around. When i run my finger along the underside of my penis it does feel like a gradual curve. Like it gradually does more down along my penis. So is peyronies like a sharp bend. Like it's going straight and at the point where the plaque is it takes a sharp turn?
I heard someone who had a 20 degrees natural curve gave himself peyronies which was most likely due to more pressure on the underside because it was curved which gives me another reason to get surgery.
It's going to cost around 5 grand of which i could possible get funded by the NHS... which would be amazing but i bet the urologists from the NHS hospital i'm going to see will just say it's not a big enough curve... doctors always try to make the situation seem normal and it's natural... i'm insecure as it is... if i get the surgery i think it will really boost my confidence providing that it goes well and make me happy again.
Fingers crossed it's not peyronies... i guess theres a chance it could be chordee but the guy who does the STAGE surgery fixes this during it apparently... being in an experts hands will be very comforting.. i hear way to many Nesbit horror stories from greedy urlogists...

I had a natural curve my whole life - around 30 degrees.  If you go to the pictures section and scroll to my original post in the thread, you'll see how I started out.  It was a smooth gradual curve like a banana.  I did not have Peyronies Disease at the time.

I noticed Peyronies Disease when I started to develop a lump and a more pronounced kink in the curve.  That's how I knew something was different.  In my later picture posts you can see how it developed into an acute curve or bend.  Personally, I believe it developed over time because when you have a congenital curve, it places repeated pressure on your penis and stresses it making injury and scar tissue more likely.  Softer erections and age contribute to the likelihood of Peyronies Disease.  It took me a long time to get used to my natural curve and I would gladly take it back from where I am now, even though I've mostly straightened out.  It does make you self-conscious and there were certain sexual positions that I could not do as well, but it was very manageable.  Fixing your self confidence is a lot easier than risking complications from surgery, which is irreversible. Although I get where you are coming from.  Before I had Peyronies Disease, I probably would have pursued surgery if I thought it fix my "problem."

Found your pictures. I'm guessing the 2008 version is the congential one. Mine looks very simular although i think mine may look a bit more gradual. One of your penis pictures i can see a real buckle/sharp bend. I think your the person who i read about of which the curve got worse funnily enough. This surgery is has seems to have no risk. The person doing it is very skilled and has done over 200+... of which only very few like 1 or 2 have had to go under the surgery again due to the curve still being their slightly. I think with peyronies surgery it can go wrong and also end up not working. Therefore i want to get surgery now that it's congential (hopefully) so i don't run that risk. I don't want to be limited in sex positions.

You seem to have alot of experience with women. My penis is about 7 inches... my girth is 5.9 at base, 5.8 at midshaft but 5 around the head. Is that a problem? I mean will it count as a thick penis? I heard someone say it may even be good because when i put my penis in and out it will stretch their first 3 or 4 inches of their vagina with my 5.9/5.8 girth then relax when i pull out then their vagina will feel the more 5inch girth then putting it back in they will feel the 5 inch girth but when i put it all the way in they will feel that bigger girth stretching their vagina of which will stretch and relax and repeat meaning it could be better then flat out 5.8 girth across my penis... is that true? What do you think?
I also need circumcison due to severe phimosis... my penis is pretty weird... i mean phimosis is quite rare but severe... and congential penis curve... god mine is one of a bad kind.
My width is also about 2 inches midshaft to base (some women refur to girth as width... rather then the overall thickness, not sure?).

I was scared, stressed and anxious when I made the decision to undergo surgery. I weighed the pros/cons of the situation had one alternative treatment choice and the decision came to surgery. My surgery was excision and graft. Similar in risk. 2 1/2 weeks post surgery now.

Once I made the decision the fear and stress left me. Leaving only anxious - I wanted to just get it done, recover and begin a new chapter. At this time I do not have one regret. The little things sacrificed or left waiting have been worth it. My wife is excited and I have gained my confidence back.

Great news! Got contacted from Mr krueas (sorry that's spelt slightly wrong) the guy who does STAGE surgery. I can hopefully get the appointment/surgery (if i need it... which i will my dick is very weird) i can get it funded through the NHS.
WJ great job. I'm 18 and have seen people ages in their 40's who have suffered with things like this all their life (although more peyronies)... if they had just not be infraid of getting it treated their life could have been alot better. I don't want to put up with something i don't have to and for what? A few weeks of pain? Thats nothing...

Basically my curve is natural. He thinks my very tight foreskin could be causing the curve... but even if i had a circumcision i doubt my penis would straighten out. I need to give more photos though they wanted to see my penis from a downwards view. Either way i'm going to hopefully get an appointment with the guys who do STAGe technique who are alot more experienced. They haven't even heard of the STAGE technique.
My penis curve like 10 degrees left and 30 - 35 down... do you think thats a good enough reason to have surgery... i mean i'm going to be really limited in life to what sex positions i can do... if i only loose 1mm per 10 degrees and it's a safe surgery i don't see why i shouldn't get it? Few weeks of pain for a much better penis?

That feeling of a very tight foreskin was exactly how it felt to me before I was diagnosed with Peyronies. For me that was when I knew something was seriously wrong. I suspect the fact the plaque was growing contributed to the tightening and beginning stages of curvature.  For me as the plaque grew the tightening increased and so did the curvature. I'm not suggesting this is what your experiencing but it is a very similar symptom.

Well they check my penis throughly... like the guy even started feeling my balls... and there was no plaque. Also because i'm in my teens i would have to do something pretty big (injury wise) to get peyronies. I have always had tight foreskin though. I think my curve is due to my penis growing more on top because it bulges up and to the right (opposite of my 2 curves). Maybe the tight foreskin is pulling my penis down a bit.

No it has nothing to do with tight foreskin. I had tight foreskin and did a circuncision when i was 16, the curvature did not resolve at all. No i do not believe is peyronies unless you remember any serious injury or recurrent small injuries. Normally a congenital curvature tends to be a smooth and continuous curvature (like a banana shape) not an accute one (in the case of peyronie). A congenital curvature can be uniplanar, biplanar and also acompanied or not by shaft rotation. I think i've said in this forum before, but there was a Polish study done a few years ago where small byopsis of tunica albuginea were colected from non curved penis and curved penis and the results were compared. It seems in people with congenital curvature there is an erratic/caotic pattern in the matrix of colagen fibers that constitute the tunica albuginea. That might be the reason the penis curves.
30-35º curvature does not seem very serious in any case a consultation with a good and experienced urologist is advised.
