Is low dose Cialis beneficial if you don't have ED?

I am new to the forum.  Really appreciate all the information I have found here.  I am 51.  About 3 months ago I started to have some pain during long sessions of sex particularly with my girlfriend on top.  I have never had any ED problems and can maintain an erection for more than an hour if I haven't had sex for a while.   Then I noticed a curve in my penis, a little hour glassing and can feel a pea sized lump on one side. :(   I ordered Pentox online and am also taking L-Arginine, Propolis, PABA, CoQ10, Vitamin E and Acetyl-L-Carnitine.

I went to my doctor in the UK and basically was told that the NHS will not pay for a urologist if you are still able to have intercourse. Were reluctant to give me a prescription for Pentox.  I haven't started traction or VED yet, still trying to decide which makes the most sense.

Does the low dose cialis make sense for me?  What is its real purpose in the treatment of Peyriones?    I already feel I am on such a cocktail of supplements.

Does anyone know a good private urologist in the greater London area?  The ones I have found online all seem to be very focused on surgery.

And do they do an audition to ascertain that?

Studies suggest it prevents fibrosis regardless of ED.

I personally think houglassing can be treated well with VED and even traction.

I will advice you to change the CoQ10 with Ubiquinol as as you are older than 40.
The testimonies on the forum on PABA are not encouraging so if you add Pentox to your treatment I was skipping PABA.
Regarding VED and/or traction, the opinions are divided. Some top Peyronies specialists advising VED, some traction.

Thank-you all.  Really this site has given me some hope.  When I first felt the lump I didn't search on-line or do anything for nearly 3 weeks as I thought it was cancer.  I was in complete denial.   I had never heard of this condition before.  Maybe I would have been more careful with myself if I had. :(

I am still looking for a urologist in London.  I am in Moscow often and my girlfriend there is searching for a urologist as well.  I will let you guys know if I find one there and what approach they have for peyronies.

I did.  It just arrived today.   I also bought some Blueberry extract.   I hadn't found this site before I started ordering things.  I was thinking the same that the PABA is likely useless.  I found it as it is the only licensed treatment in the UK or so it seems.

I guess I should try it then.  I have looked on-line and was surprised by the cost.  Is it much cheaper if you have a prescription?
I ordered a SomaCorrect three tube VED system yesterday.  I think it is the same as the Vitality OTC system.  In the end it was the less time commitment that sold me.  There is no way I could wear a traction device to work.

I do have a female GP ;)

Regarding Cialis try this link:

For the daily 5 mg I am cutting the 20 mg in four.
I don't know if you can get them in the UK or Russia. They are sending by parcel post.

So, just to update.  I continue on my cocktail of Pentox, propolis, arginine, blueberry extract, ALC, vitamin E and ubiquinol.  I am also taking a fish oil supplement and 5 mg of cialis per day.  I have also started applying a small amount of Venorutan twice per day.

I cut my Pentox back to 2 tablets per day as I was feeling very woolly in the brain and it badly upset my stomach.  I seem to be okay other then I seem to have a sore back every morning but it doesn't last long.  My condition doesn't seem to have changed much.  I have two ball bearing size lumps on the side of my penis and it almost feels that it is connected to a string of tissue.  Not sure what.  What I have noticed is that sometimes my lumps feel smaller and softer than other times.  I get excited that something is working only for it to feel the same later.  Does this happen for others?

The cialis is certainly interesting.  I have always had very hard erections but I notice that when I wake in the night that I am always semi erect.  Hopefully this is a good thing.  :)  I found a good source for ALC pure powder.  PM me if you are interested.  Seems to be about 1/3 the price of the capsules.

Just received my VED and did my first session last night.  Had a little trouble with the small tube until I used lots of lube but otherwise it seemed to go ok.  Off to see my girlfriend this weekend in Moscow and will see a urologist there.  Will be strange with my girlfriend translating for me but hopefully I will learn something.  Will try not to injure myself more but plan on lots of exercise.   ;D

As for the lumps, I believe they're just inflamed tissue. They can feel soft at times and hard at others. Eventually, plaques could build up in those areas.

Pentox and cialis 5mg daily will work i suggest it. Even without ed it will strengthen the erection.

Hey, guys, a question about low-dose (2.5 mg) Cialis: Does it matter when/how you take it? Morning vs Night? With food/Without?

james1947

I am taking the Cialis at night because it makes me light headache.
Don't feel when sleeping.

I take it at bedtime, as well.  I love the fact that it really reintroduced night time erections for me.  More often than not, when I wake up in the night, I'm at least semi-erect, which has to do wonders for blood flow and the benefits that brings. Like James and some others, I get mine from River Pharm and just take about 3.5-5 mg per night.

Just checking in with you guys.  I have been on this oral treatment regime and it seems to be working.  No changes at all for nearly two months but in the last three weeks my lump has gotten much smaller and my cock a little straighter.  I am feeling more positive.  I have a feeling that getting my blood pressure under control has a lot to do with the improvement I have seen.

Just for the record I have been taking...

Supplements:
Antioxidants (either blueberry or pomegranate)
Magnesium
Ubiquinol
Vitamin E
Propolis
ACL
L-Arginine

Drugs:
2 X 400 mg of Pentox
1 X 5 mg cialis
1 X 10 mg Lisinopril (for blood pressure)

The only other things I have been doing differently is not drinking quite so much, cut down my caffeine and am also drinking kefir daily.

Does anyone have any info to share about the negative side effects of Cialis? I've seen those after midnight infomercials by lawyers looking for persons who had negative side effects from taking Cialis and it concerns me a little. For me this seems like one of the least invasive treatments.

I was a little sceptical to take as I haven't any problems with ED.  That said, I have had no ill side effects (touch wood  ;D ).  The main thing I have noticed is that my flaccid member seems bigger since taking the cialis.  I believe it has helped to improve the blood circulation.  For me, I think my previously untreated hypertension left me vulnerable to this condition.  A particularly energetic girlfriend was the rest of the equation.  :)

A search in the library will give you the benefits of taking low dose Cialis (2.5 mg) to treat Peyronies disease if don't have ED.
VED, Pentox and low dose Cialis softened my plaques and made the hourglasses disappear.

James, thanks for the referral to the library and the additional info from your personal experience. So, no side affects for you from low dose Cialis. I don't have ED, which is good. Thanks again for taking the time to respond!

UrsusMinor

bpman, there is plenty of evidence of side effects from Cialis (though not as big an issue as with Viagra).

But I'm guessing--I can't prove it--that most of the side effects come at higher doses. I scanned the web before I started taking it, and I didn't see many reports of problems with low-dose Cialis. (I saw a lot of people complaining that 5 mg, which is twice what I take, didn't help their ED; but none of them seemed to report side effects.)

james1947

All those ED medications like Viagra, Cialis, etc' have side effects.
Some people are not experiencing any, some experiencing very bad side effects.
For me, Cialis up to 5 mg has no side effects but 20 mg makes me 36 hours of headaches, flushing's, back pain, dizziness and not helping with ED more than the 5 mg. The 5 mg Cialis for ED helps if taken daily.
Viagra 25 mg made me side effects in the past, not anymore today. I am taking 25 or 50 mg for sex, light headaches only.
