Heat / ice therapy

Saw mention of this in another thread, wondered how many advocate it.

I find heat quite beneficial, through use of one of those flexi material microwaveable / freezable packs.

Not sure if there's a medical view on it, mind-you. I keep meaning to mention it to my uro to see what he thinks. I'm thinking it can't do any harm - the increased bloodflow might even be a plus.

I allways wondered that myself. U would think the heat would bring the blood in and soften the plaque up

There have been studies on hypothermia, it does appear to work. Ice as we all know, reduces inflammation. It's commonly prescribed after penile fracture.

I have found both to be very helpful!
