Thanks Chef.  I did learn something new from this article, namely the study using Nicardipine intralesional injections.  Having been through Verapamil injections (and Xiaflex, and PRP), I always wondered how much of the improvements came merely from the needle punctures of the plaque and the hydrostatic pressure of the injected fluid, and whether the fluid being used - saline (placebo), Verapamil, Xiaflex, or PRP, was largely irrelevant   Nicardipine is a calcium channel blocker like Verapamil, so it is interesting that those who received that drug showed significant improvement over saline placebo.  I will have to try and get that referenced article about the Nicardipine study.

Another out of touch article overviewing Xiaflex, verapamil, and vitamin E?
This is the pattern we have been seeing for years. All three of those treatments are seriously ineffective. How about an article on pentox and VED ?

Our goal is to get away from these old or even harmful practices.

The article is based mostly on Dr. Mulhall.
The opinions regarding doctor Mulhall are not so positive:
QuoteMulhall not only does not prescribe Pentox but told me to throw what I had away.
BTW: after thousands of dollars spent in treatment with Mulhall I only was allowed to see/talk to him maybe FIVE TO TEN MINUTES TOPS! (Every time I called his practitioners would take the call saying he was busy.)
His nurse practitioners also gave me the VI injections (my situation worsened considerably over the course of treatment -- went from a dent to a 30 degree bend) and at the end I was pretty much summarily dismissed by him saying there was nothing else he or I could do.
Just quoting :(
