Hi guys, I'm new here. I injured my self 3 months ago during sex (On 15mg of cialis).
Have a doppler study appontment on Tuesday the 25th. But the pain, ED, loss of size and sensitivity has me convinced I have peyronies.

My question is- Is it safe to stop masturbation?  Because every time I have managed too, I suffer from pain (during) but terrible numbness and shrinkage for the follow days?

Look forward to hearing from you  :-)

Your appointment for Doppler on 25th is with a Peyronies expert?
It is important to be diagnosed to decide the treatment approach.
I am proposing you to read the the link bellow if you didn't read yet:
Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums
It will give you some basics regarding Peyronies.
Regarding masturbation and sex, I am proposing you to abstain in this stage because of the pain, numbness and shrinkage.

Appreciate the speedy reply James.
I have had one appt with a urologist, which organised the doppler....
He asked alot of quetions, but didn't give any diagnosis... Just agreed my CC tissue felt unusual.
Next appointment with Uro is on the 27th.

My GP told me just to rest after my injury, but my condition worsened (big vein in the head of penis). Ended up going to hospital for assessment. They believe I had a blood clot from the trauma during sex. Made the referral to a urologist and prescribed Endone and Aspirin for the sort term.

So frustrating waiting for appointments!

Sarting taking L arginine yesterday, some neg effect even on low doses.

applying vitamin E & cocont cream to head of penis

Not sure if they're a peyronies expert, but my Urologist said there's not many places in Melboune Australia, that can carry out this test? Apparently the test  involves a caverject injection and take an hour?

So here's my next Question- Is this injection going to cause anymore damage to my penis?

NeoV

STR8JKT, to think that taking a break from "masturbation" is unhealthy is not only wrong, its dangerous.
Your penis needs rest. If you break or injure your penis you need to stop. I may be speaking for myself here, but the brain loves to justify access to any addictions it has, be it sex, erection checking, or whatever.

Almost all of my improvement since having this disease has come from rest and then very careful masturbation and sex following short breaks.

STR8JKT

Sorry NeoV..... Your saying I should rest, or masturbate? Because I haven't for a month now....

STR8JKT

I've been googling all day and I believe it's Cavernosal fibrosis im suffering from?  As my penis use to bend upward during erection, but because of the stiffening tissue in my CC, it is alot more straight and bends to the left. Loss of girth and length.
Im worried about getting this caverjects injection now, because they warn not to use it if you have it  :-(

NeoV

I'm saying you should take a break from masturbation and if you do masturbate to do so carefully and less frequently.

I'm not too sure about those injections.

STR8JKT

Thanks for clarifying Neov  :-)

I tried to masturbate last night and couldn't get erect or feel any pleasure at all.

Had the doppler today. wasn't as bad as I thought, but still a bit painful.

Get results on Thursday.... Feeling nervous!

NeoV

Really wish you luck man. I'm 27 and struggle with erection checking and over masturbation too.
Its hard to be in "the void" so to speak, and not know the future of your most prized possession.
But like I said, I started recovering when I took breaks from it.

On another note, keep in mind that damage to the lymphatic vessels in the penis can result in temporary loss of sensation in or around the penis. Hernias can cause the same thing. Do you have any numbness around your lower abdomen? Be patient and hang in there. Healing from any injury takes a long time when you are mentally focussed on it and activities that use that part of your body.

STR8JKT

Cheers NeoV  :-),  nah, no Hernia's or numbness in the abdoman, but the lympatic vessles have me thinking... Because I preasented with thrombosis veins and a clot-could be connencted?

looking forward to tomorrows appoiment!

Wish the best of luck to all fellow forum members  :-)
