One year with peyronies

One year has passed since I noticed my firsts synthomps of Peyronies.

I have been reading a lot in this forum, although I only participate with a couple of post in the beginning.

As I said in my first post, my case is a mild case of peyronies. The first thing I notice was a lump in the shaft, and a slight deformation in erection (curvature of about 20 degrees).  After the second visit to my urologist (the first one was a "wait and see") I got an ultrasound that confirmed I have peyronies with calcified bump. Although is a mild case, it has had an important psychological impact, as it has become obsesive for me, and I'm suffering DE that I think is psychological rather than physical because I still have night erections.

In this months I have been in a relation, and although she was very understanding, finally it didn't work out, maybe peyronies added a factor for that.

In this months, and mainly thanks to the information I found in this forum, I have been taking the following complements and meds:

Pentoxifiline 400mg x2
Cialis 5mg (once weekly)
L-Carnitine 400mg x4
L-Arginine 500mg x4
Co-Q10 30mg x4
Propolis 250mg x8
Aloe Vera 10ml
Magenesium Cloride 1 tea spoon diluded in orange juice
Bee pollen 1 spoon diluded in breakfast

From a psychological point of view, I have find very positive reading this forum, trying to compare my case with others', finding encouraging testimonies, advice, recomendations... etc. I also found thorugh this forum a couple of books that have been important for me: "The Untethered Soul" and "Super Brain"

Sometimes has been good for me to disconnect from the forum a few weeks because sometimes I was obsessed to read more and more information

The evolution of the disease has lights and shadows...

The Bump that originally was bean shaped, has decreased its size. The curvature in erection is less (about 15 degrees) and comparing pictures, at the beginning it was like a "elbow curvature" and now is more progressive, let's say "banana curvature"

The "shadows" part is that since 5 months ago I started to notice new little bumps, so it seems that the disease has not stabilised.

I don't know if any of the things I'm taking have contributed to this evolution, or if the evolution would have been the same if i didn't do anything (as all the three urologists I visited, in a more or less rude manner, suggested to me), But I think is always positive not to "just wait", and try everything that seems logic to fight against peyronies.

In the last month, I have started a combined therapy of acupuncture plus apitherapy (including bee sting in acupuncture points). I will update with information on the eventual results.

Also latelly I'm trying to be positive, thinking of peyronies as less posible, and center my efforts in other issues that allow me to be less stressed.

Thanks a lot for all the contributions, one can find a lot of warm here reading all the testimonies.

Yo Esfu,

Just wanted to say I'm glad you are mostly staying positive. That's the hardest part. I also found those books to be helpful, along with others like "The Power of Now", or "The Way of the Superior Man" and a lot more. Peyronie's acts as a spring board to self improvement, and one has to wonder where he would be if he never had it. It's one of those interesting facts of life that the man who faces difficulty, trauma, or injury is often the only one who is able to reach the greatest heights.

You're treatment plan looks pretty amazing, but how about traction or VED? Personally traction is the king of all treatments for me. Let us know how you're doing!
