Which extender to use?

Are penis extenders really the way to go to fix a bent curve? I dont have peyronies, i either have a congenital curve or one that formed along the way, and looking for a way to treat it. This site here, (dont know if its legit) says penix extenders are the way to go, and promotes x4 labs peyronies edition or the pro extender.

-Have you tried any of those device,s or something that is superior or better suited?
-Are traction devices more effective than jelqing techniques?

One more detail is that my bent starts from the root of the shaft. Is it dangerous to do anything about it? Doctor said it may form plaques, or create additional bends, so i should be careful on how to proceed.

I can tell you that jelqing is not a good idea. I am wondering, if you bend at the root, does that cause any problem with sex? Or is this just a cosmetic issue?

-How did you conclude that? On Pegym forums, they suggest side jelqing, and erect bending to fix curves. Also Traction devices and pumps are recommended all over the place.

-If you view the penis from a top view, the curve starts somewhere along the middle. BTW how can i measure curvature?

-But if you attach the underside and trace along the muscle, you'll see that it actually curves from the root. I wish i could show photos somehow so that someone that new more about this can tell me what they actually think instead of just describing this.

Jelqing is done by hand with no means to control the pressure and severity. Peyronie's injuries have been caused by jelqing. If you don't have absolute, measurable control, then don't do it. On the other hand, traction and pump are controllable. Either is recommended for Peyronies Disease. Used properly, they are safe and beneficial.

Any cite that touts it's product as a "cure" for Peyronies Disease is an outright scam. There is no cure, period. There are ways to improve and even feel normal, but you are never cured.

Lastly, you can use a compass to gauge your bend. If straight out from your body is 0 degrees, then you can judge what angle the tip is pointing. If you point all the way left, that is 90 degrees. You are likely somewhere in between.

You seem to know what you're saying so i'l definitely keep that in mind.

So Which method would you suggest?

Note my curve is not peyronies, but congenital. I read that stretching or jelqing even if done right, can cause scar tissue damage and elasticity concerns, that weill lessen sensitivity to the corresponding nevre endings ultimately compromising erection quality. Could that be true? I read it here

I personally prefer VED because it requires less therapy time per day. There are sections here with vast amounts of info on both VED and traction. Spend some time reading the pros and cons of both and make your own decision. You will see one or the other as the best choice for you.

Is it suited for congenital curves as well? Since this is a peyronies dedicated forum, i need to know that same practices apply to various types of curves before i attempt anything.

Also where does the progress stop. People say theres no procedure that gives 100% cure, and no curve becomes as straight as desired etc... How would you respond?

Yes zorofriki, what is written in the link is true!!!
We had and have members that they Peyronies started from Jelqing

Hi everyone, i'm new here....can i ask what is the minimum flaccid penis length to use the extender devices?i'm asian so rather short....=[

dplookin

I don't have a Traction Device due to cost, but I read somewhere that a person needed at minimum of 4 inches for some of the better devices.............just my input about your question.

That is the most irresponsible thing I have heard in a long time, pegym sucks. 'Erect bending' is essentially what causes Peyronie's.
This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.

Emo, you will most likely need about 4" if you use the spring loaded ones. You can use the non spring loaded ones like leluv sells Some of the guys here don't like them, but I preferred it because of it adjust ability without having to keep replacing rods all the time. Also you can try an ESL40 ADS which is the silicone cup traction/stretcher. He offers 3 sizes and this will increase your flaccid length

powderpowder

So if ur under 4 inches flaccid you cant use traction? Great....

I am probably 2 inches flaccid, def a grower not a shower, guess i need to look into VED ontop of pentox now

dplookin

to Powderpowder...........you are not alone.  I have the same problem.  I lost so many inches with this peyronies.  I can hardly do anything with it.  Good Luck.

powderpowder

oddly enough i measured myself flaccid today and it was 4 inches, but it isnt always 4 flaccid, it varies, sometimes it could shrink to 3 inches and sometimes 2 inches. I didnt lose anything to peyronies yet, its always been smaller when flaccid. But I guess i am not eligible for traction because of this

Hi everyone, i'm new here....can i ask what is the minimum flaccid penis length to use the extender devices?

I've thought about this quite a bit. And it seems the better question would be to ask about minimum stretched flaccid length as this is the length the extender will extend you to. And stretched flaccid length should be constant.

powderpowder if your 4 inches on x4labs it sais less than 4 Be sure to add the 58 Way Support System to your order should you need your penis enlargement device to be compatible with penis sizes between 1 to 3.9 inches flaccid. If you have a ved pump it up then do traction because your penis will be pumped up.

powderpowder

Noway i am not going to get started on traction or VED yet because i have no curvature or pain, just an minor hourglass effect and 2mm dorsal plaque.

If i develop curvature then i may started VED, but even with extreme caution

Im afraid traction/ved could cause further injury and make my not so big problem (yet) worse

james1947

powderpowder

I wrote before, don't wait for the curvature, make it not to happen.
VED will help also to eliminate the hourglass.
Use the VED with caution, don't over-pump, follow the forum protocol and not other aggressive protocols.

I am looking at the simple X4 LABS Starter Edition Extender that is $130 with a Mini support piece since I am 3" flaccid not stretched out

Going to do more research and then might pull the trigger on this one.  My curvature isnt bad so i'm not going to get the peyronies extender. I want to to traction purely to prevent shortening, because my erect length is 5" (peyronies hasnt affected this yet)  and I would like to be able to keep at least 4.5"+ if peyronies shortens me.

Another goal is to maximize my stretched flaccid length incase I opt for an implant in the future

emo_boy17

thanx for the replies....i would like to ask if it's 4" refers to the entire length or up to the penis glan?as i know that the holding part of the traction is before the glan...am i right?i'm only at about 3"

james1947

emo_boy17
The stretched length refer to the length including the glans.
You are right, the holding is bellow the glans.

powderpowder
If you will be on traction and/or VED, probably you will not get shorter. Also traction will extend your flaccid.
Just don't over-stretch/over-pup. This is my opinion

Thanx James for your reply...i've purchase andropenis, however after using for an hour i felt that my penis head will be smaller and it takes awhile to be normal again...is this normal?help and advice needed desperately

Another concern is, i've read a post from inkhorn that he stated in "Re: Problems with fitting traction device" The device I use came with a strap or surgical tubing. The strap with foam is supposed to be superior, but I use the tubing. I'm not circumcised and the tube works good. BTW-I do not pull back the foreskin. Regards Inkhorn

SO, my question is, is it okay to use traction without pulling back foreskin?i've a lot of excess skin and it makes me very uncomfortable

Noway

emo_boy17

Yes it is okay to use traction without pulling back the foreskin I do it. Also after time your penis will contract while being in the traction device just take it off and let the blood flow again or stand up works for me. I would also use the strap with confort foam that surgical tube is garbage.

To powderpowder..........If you haven't purchased an Extender yet, you might want to check out the "Male Edge" brand.  I purchased an extender from 4X Labs even though I have lost too many inches and it is a little difficult to wear this extender.  I recently discovered the Male Edge Extender, and I believe it is usable on a penis that is only 1.5 inches / 4 cm........I wish I had purchased this one.  The price is the same as the 4X Labs one that I purchased.  www.maleedge.com.  Just FYI dplookin

"Erect bending?"

I can't even figure out what that means. When it's erect, it doesn't bend, at all. That's sort of my definition of a full erection.

dplookin

UrsusMinor.....it sounds like he is saying that when it is Erect, it has a bend in it.

james1947

To straiten an erected bent penis is to fracture it for sure.
Not a smart think to do!!!

I don't think so. I read it several times. It sounds like they are suggesting that bending an erect penis is a way to straighten a curve, which strikes me as 1) Not wise, and 2) pretty much impossible.
