Hello, nearly two months ago I had vigorous sex where my erection came out when my she was on top and she bent it pretty hard.

The next day I noticed a big soft lump right under the head of my penis and didn't think much of it.

A week or two later I was waking up with painful erections during the night. Then I noticed it was very painful to masturbate or have sex.

Now I have pain all the time and I noticed there is small hard lump where the soft lump was. I don't have any bending of my erection but I have pain in my flacid penis and in my testicle (only on the side where I have the bump).

I just assumed this would clear up and just started to take this seriously when it didn't and have self-diagnosed myself. Needless to say I am terrified. I can barely work, concentrate, eat or sleep.

I am seeing a urologist soon. What should do to stop the pain and most importantly the progression of this? It seems like Prednisone would be the best to stop the inflammation? Please help!

Sorry to hear about your injury. First thing, read the "Read this first" page on this site - it has good first-line treatment recommendations. But before you do much of anything, go see a urologist and get an official diagnosis. It certainly sounds like Peyronie's from what you describe, but you want to be certain you don't have any sort of rupture to the tunica from the injury - likely you don't, but you want to be sure.

The good news at this point is though you have pain, you don't actually have any bending or problems. The pain almost invariably goes away at some point. I would suggest though that you take action now to halt any progression that might be underway (or it might not, we never know). Namely, take some anti-inflammatory (reasonable doses, nothing crazy), see a uro, if he diagnoses you with Peyronies Disease, try to get a scrip for Pentoxifylline, maybe take some COQ10 or Ubiquinol ... these are really the first-line non surgical treatments available right now.

There are other options like the VED, etc. but being that you don't have any distortion at this point, those are probably premature. Main thing is try to remain calm - there are things to do and try. Don't let your fears of the future get the best of you - most of these horrible visions never come to fruition.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.

Thank you so much Nemo. I have just read all of that information.

If the pain goes away, I will be ok as long as I don't wake up one day with some distortion of the penis. Reading through the posts here, the pain it seems to be chronic for so many.

If anyone has any further advice or reassurance for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Potaba has been shown in randomized double blind study to prevent curvature. All in the treatment group did not develop curvature while in the placebo group 80% did.

Thank you, I am taking a print out of that study to my appointment.

Where does it indicate "All in the treatment group did not develop curvature while in the placebo group 80% did", however?

Oh. That is in the main text. I have a printout of the complete paper from the university library. It says precisely: 5 in Potaba group had initial straight penis which stayed that way, 8 in the placebo group of which 6 developed new curvature.

Hello, I thought I'd follow up 5 months later for anyone who might be interested. I noticed there often aren't follow ups on these when I searched around the net.

The doctor was fairly certain I didn't have Peyonies. So I was greatly relieved.

He said I had developed a lymphocele (which is the little hard bump) however, as a result of the injury and it would go away shortly.

However, it's never gone away. And I still have a slight pain in one of my testicles and sometimes my shaft especially after sex. I was fully examined and they did a ultrasound and they couldn't find anything.

So, I suspect I'll always have the lymphocele and the slight pain. It doesn't seem to affect my erectile function and there is no sign of any curvature of the penis, so even though it's frustrating and annoying I suppose I'm lucky and I will deal with it.

Anyone that has had a similar experience let me know what has happened with you.

At 20 I had the exact same scenario happen. Girl on top, came down on it with her pubic bone, bent in half, and have been battling this stupid disease for 12 years (before there was any real information on the subject). The best advice I can personally give you from here on out is to be more careful during sex and don't act like you're in a porn. I'm not really a porn guy, but I have seen a couple of times where some guy has his unit nearly bend in half and there is no long term problem with it. We on this forum are obviously not in that category.

Treasure what you already have and don't let this incident get you down. Things could be a WHOLE LOT worse (I know from personal experience).
