I wasn't sure what to name this thread.

I think many people just like myself have had the normal lifestyle habit of not eating breakfast. Now that I have peyronie's I have to adjust my own lifestyle. I'm trying to break the no breakfast, drink a couple cups of coffee and get on with it habit. I have to in order to not take my morning pentox on an empty stomach. I've also never really had the need to take daily meds for an extended period of time. So I need to develope new habits and get a game plan.

I'm curious, what do you guys eat in the morning to get a quick something on the stomach before taking meds?

Right now, I shovel down a couple quick handfuls of regular Cheerios, dry no milk. Not optimal, but at least I am taking my morning pentox "with food".

here's my breakfast,
muesli, oats, natural yogurt, milk. i'm kind of lucky as i love it. been eating it for years, oh only a few spoons of yogurt.

My breakfast (and I never miss it) includes always two slices of bread, preferable dark (different kinds), includes eggs, cheeses, salamis, yogurt and so on. I can afford that as my cholesterol is bellow 100 and sugar bellow 80 ;D
I think a good breakfast is good for health.

There are a million nutrition blogs.. Google them.

Personally I stay away from dairy and most carbs and sugars. So Cheerios would not be my choice

Healthy veggie (asparegous, spinach -no tomato or bell peppers), fruit. Big salads. Sometimes oatmeal with berries. Sometimes protein drinks. Sometimes raw veggie smothies

Good suggestions, thanks.

Yeah, dry Cheerios was just the most simple temporary off the cuff plan I could come up with. 1cup has only 1g of sugar. It's supposed to be good for the ticker, also. A couple of times I took pentox(as well as other meds/supplements) on an empty stomach which made me somewhat ill feeling.

So the idea for us is to eat a low carb-high protein-no sugar diet, yes?

I'll gradually get a good plan. Of course it's good to eat mindfully whatever the circumstance, and positive changes are good. But I don't want this thing to absolutely dictate every aspect of my life and be a constant reminder. I also do most of the cooking when the wife and I are in the same place, so I'm kind of scrambling to avoid things I should not be eating while at the same time cook things we will both enjoy, budget also considered. Steak and asparagus every night sounds nice, but it aint gonna happen.

I'm not trying to turn this into a better homes & gardens or betty crocker forum, but since it apparently does matter what we eat so we don't trigger inflammation and such, I thought it might be interesting and helpful to bounce the question off of you guys.

I hope this isn't viewed as clogging the board with misc content. My apologies if it is.

No, is not clogging the board, we have this board of "Open Questions......" exactly for those king of questions.
By the way if you are interested to know what other members diet is, make a search for "diet", have a few topics with deep discussions what should be (according to different members opinion) a good diet for Peyronies sufferers.

This is an emotionally destructive condition, we all have it, let's be nice to each other.
