Interesting.

What I don't understand is will 'healing' get rid of scar tissue or simply make it heal as is / solidify it. I'm so confused as to how treatment of peyronies is possible.

That's why I'm asking. They used it even for broken bones to heal faster. And it has something called "allantoin" in it, wich promotes cell regeneration.

Recently, I didn't saw my mother for two weeks. Then when i saw her, she literally looked younger. It was so obvious that I had to ask her what happened.

She made a tincture of confrey roots and she's applying it every day on her face.

Of course the articles have pure marketing purposes, but can't argue with facts as you stated regarding your mother.

Man, it's just grass that one can find everywhere. I don't think someone can earn millions with it.

Quote from Wiki:
QuoteContemporary herbalists view comfrey as an ambivalent and controversial herb that may offer therapeutic benefits....
1. No researches in the subject that proving the benefits of Comfrey.
2. The articles on Wiki are written by people that also have different interests.
3. Anyone can contribute and change articles on Wiki.
Bottom line, in my opinion Wiki is an excellent source of information, I am using it often, but you have to filter the information.

Throw stones at me. I just asked if someone has experience.

james1947

No Damian, I am not trowing stones on you, just try to be realistic.
I have spent a lot of money on different miracle cures (same as many others in our situation) and I am suspicious on everything that don't have some scientific research behind.
Your post is useful as maybe someone had good experience in the subject so others can follow and try.

I know a bit about herbs, and Comfrey is one to be careful with. Yes, it has known anti-inflammatory effects, and does speed the growth and healing of skin cells.

On the other hand, it has a number of toxic compounds that can cause liver damage if taken internally, and it is believed that some of these are absorbed through the skin.

If you decide to mess around with Comfrey, be very cautious--and don't use it at all if you are taking anything else that challenges liver function (alcohol, for example). Especially avoid it if you are taking Tylenol (acetaminophen/paracetamol). [Of course, I'd advise anyone to avoid Tylenol under any circumstances--in the developed world, Tylenol/acetaminophen/paracetamol is now the leading cause of acute liver failure.]
