just wondering has anybody experienced esophagitis on pentox (3x/day). I'm on my second month of it and previously forgot to take it 3 times a day sometimes(took it 2x instead) and now have begun taking the full dose. I also experienced high blood pressure as well as esophagitis

DmitriyEM

wondering whether this could potentially be the result of it building up in my system when taking 3

Your blood pressure should go down using Pentox.  Do you know if you have a Hiatel hernia ?  That would cause some problems.  You may be allergic to pentox.  I had to quit taking it after a month of use due to other side effects.

Pentox is a prescribed medication because should be taken under doctors supervision.
In any case if those are your symptoms you should reduce to 1, increase to 2 when the side effects fading away and again when side effects fading away while on 2 pills, increase to 3.
This what I have done and helped.

Is high blood pressure is side effect of this medicine?

dimityr,
i had an allergic reaction to pentox that included swelling in throat, mouth, and headache. i tried it three different times with my doctor and concluded that am just allergic to it.  sounds like you've been on it for awhile but should be careful and coordinate with your md on those kind of side effects, esophagitis etc.

Hi guys...since we're on the topic of side effects.

I recently this past weekend 12/14 had my year endoscopy and was told by my doctor that I had some minor ulceration right below the schincter at the top of the stomach. Now I'm worried that this could be a possible side effect too...

It could be and it could be not a side effect of Pentox.
In my opinion you should stop using Pentox for a while and make a new endoscopy. With the correct diet, minor ulceration's are going away alone.

Yeah I just may do that. I only got to speak to the dr for like a min after the procedure but didn't really say whether or not I can stay on it or not.

Since then I stopped taking it and have been just sticking to 1000mg of Bee propolis and 300mg of CoQ10

When you stopped everything did the pain stop? If yes, start taking one for a week or two.  Then add the next one and see when the pain comes back.  So every one or two weeks you are adding one of the supplements.
