had a minor injury with GF about a month ago.  my penis narrows on the right side halfway-to the base, and i think there might be a tiny ridge on the upper left side (you can see a picture in the pics forum title:does this look like peyronies?) although i dont think if feels like a dent or plaque.

basically, i'm going to my urologist this week to get a check up on the injury and i'm going to ask him and talk to him about peyronies.

If you think your case came from an injury, when did you start seeing curvature/pain?

Btw, i had tiny dull aches in my penis for about 2 weeks, which i believed have stopped since. no pain during erection

Is this in the right place or should it go in a diff forum?

Sorry you're not getting any responses - sometimes posts just sort of gather dust, not sure why.

I can't speak to the question, as my Peyronies Disease was not the result of any recognizable injury, but what did your doctor say?  I assume you followed through with the appointment.

My apoointment is tomorrow. I wad just curious to see if anybody could help me out and tell me how theyre peyronies started out. Either suddenly after an injury or slowly as the injury healed....etc.

Well, unfortunately, with Peyronie's, I'm afraid you'll get answers all over the place, as Peyronies Disease seems to manifest in every way possible - fast, slow, wake up one morning with a bend out of the blue, or feel it progressing slowly.  It's very frustrating.  I sympathize - I've got a couple nodules right now that just popped up for no apparent reason about three weeks ago and I'm living in a state of high anxiety waiting to see how they're going to affect the shape and erection quality of my penis.  It's a horrible way to live, I know ...

Best of luck at the doctor's appt.

I'm guessing your aren't getting many response as many men who get Peyronies don't remember or can't associate it with a specific injury or trauma incident.

I know of no reason why I have peyronies.  I remember no injury or anthing else.  The only thing could have been the Beta Blocker years before.  Some doctors say Beta Blockers will and some say not. Peyronies is listed as 2% or less of men that take it.

With all the changes in insurance an Medicare Beta Blockers is the number 1 prescribed drug for most heart problems.  When I had a heart stent about 2 years ago before leaving the hospital Medicare required the doctor put me on a Beta Blocker.  It took the doctor and nurses over 2 hours to convince them I was allergic to it.  I was told if they had not prescribed it Medicare would not pay the hospital or doctor.  DUH!!! What are we going to do with some nut case on a computer telling us what meds to take. My 2 cents.

I had no injury but for me I developed my first symptoms within a few weeks of having sex for the first time.  The deformity when erect progressed over a period of a month or two to about 10 degrees.  After that I have noticed some changes but not necessarily worsening.  Just kind of fluctuating.

For me, I first noticed lumps nearly a year after my injury. Then the bend progressed rapidly.

Middle of October was when my injury occurred. I noticed hourglassing within a week and knew something was wrong and sought out urologist who said I had prostatitis. He referred me to another Uro. Late November now and the first had believed it to be peyronies, the second diagnosed it as such and said nothing to do but wait and see. So I'm 2 1/2 months in and mine curves... basically where the 11 on a clock is. If it will just stabilize, I'll be ok. If it can just stay this way..

mine was ~3 months after injury point. I knew nothing about Peyronies ... hadn't even heard of it

Had the aching you describe then literally suddenly woke up one morning with a 45degs upward bend. No progression, it was just totally bent, over night.

It has just continually developed further since then over the last 2 years or so. Getting an hourglass, multiple dents, shortening and thinning
