hi
well I guess I found myself here the same way you all did.
I'm a 50 yr old male, married 25 yrs, 3 grown kids, 3 grandkids.
I've had a pretty good life. I work hard, play hard. I live by the ocean in San Diego.
I swim, surf, fish, lift weights, and ride a Harley. I enjoy a great sex life with my wife.
I've been blessed until now.
Roughly about 1 yr ago I noticed my penis just starting to curve upwards.
I don't remember an event or injury which could have caused this. He (my penis) just started curving upwards.
No real pain, I'd say maybe a 2-3 on a scale to 10. This has put me into a funk for awhile.
I thought it would get better and go away.
I finally typed in "curving penis" on google and discovered I have this Peyronies BS. I dragged my feet mostly because of shock and denial but finally made an apt with a urologist with Kaiser. That felt like a waste of time.
He just confirmed my fears and told me to just tug and hold my penis to stretch him out and prescribed me some Colcrys 0.6 mg 2x dailey.
My funk has just continued. My wife is very understanding and extremely supportive.
We still do what we can which is mostly oral sex because I have no "stroke".
My curve is upwards and greater than 45* probably more like 80* with no hourglass.
I guess I should be grateful. Things could be worse.
I have a follow up with the Dr. today.
Any thoughts, ideas, comments, suggestions?
Kinda lost
Thanks for your time and listening

bscott,
You've come to the right place. And you need to be proactive to treat your Peyronies. I had a 70 degree curve and had it corrected back to being straight again. Even though Peyronies hits everyone differently, there are things you can do to try to treat this. And having a supportive spouse is a great asset. Many urologists will tell you to take a "wait and see" approach. This is the worse thing you can do. Lots of experience here on the forum. You need to find a specialist who has a solid track record of treating Peyronies disease.

check the forum and get on the prescibed protocol of pentox, cialis, arganine, ubiqonol as long as dr says ok. Also, i am taking propolis, blubbery, bilberry, vitamin e, magnesium chloride, drinking tons of green tea -- antioxidants my friend.

hi
first, Thank you for the visits and replies.
I'm not much into computers and I hunt and peck to type but I'm sure glad I stumbled onto this site.
i spent hrs browsing thru so much info. Grateful for a place like this where one can come to share and/or learn.
i only wish i had found it earlier. Actually i really wish that i didn't have peyronies first of all.
So yesterday  (after i joined this fine site and armed with some info!)  i went to the kaiser urologist.
i walked in and told him i wanted a script for Pentox and Cialis. he said none of his pts use pentox but he didn't argue with me.
i was out of there in 5 minutes.
So today i'm starting pentox, cialis, vitamin e, propolis. and lots of green tea.
send some healing manna my way fellas and hopefully i can kick this fockers ass!

A loving and supporting wife is a blessing with this horrible deices. Mine stood by me all through my journey. I would have not made it without her.

I would also suggest you start on the VED therapy ASAP. Over time it will help straighten your curve, help keep hour penis healthy and help prevent loss of penile size.  I posted the single cylinder VED therapy I used on the VED board. Any questions feel free to ask.
