I have been diagnosed with Peyronies recently. The pain with erections started Feb 2013 & the Curvature/a ring has started within the last 4-6 weeks. Been to a local Urologist (Dallas). He proscribed vitamin E, provided me with some statistics & wished me luck. I am on Warfarin due to a blood clot last October 2012. Just a few questions:

1. Is continued intercourse make the problem worse (I have soreness for 2-3 days after intercourse)?
2. Why Cialis daily? Does daily erections keep the scaring from hardening?
3. Is there a recommended Peyronies specialist in the Dallas area?
4. Should I discontinue the Warfarin?

Thanks

I split you post that you may have your own topic and people can answer you.
First, you have to change your doctor, he had not updated his knowledge from the time that dinosaurs where still living on the earth.
1. Some on the forum will tell you "use it or lose it", others have different opinion. In my opinion if the soreness is not too bad can continue to have intercourse.
2. Have some evidences that combination of low dose Cialis (2.5 mg daily) and Pentox helps softening scar tissues. Some have remarkable results, some less.
3. You may find a Peyronies specialist in your area in the link bellow if you will not get a specific answer.

4. You should talk with your doctor regarding Warfarin. you may want to read George999 post; Reply #350 on: June 09, 2011, 10:56:22 PM at:

We are not posting the same post in different places. It makes no sense and no help.

As a fellows peyronies sufferer and heart patient I will try to answer your questions.

1. Never stop intercourse! Stopping intercourse will not help but sometimes make things worse.

2. Daily Cialis does not stop the hardening of the plaque IMHO. It does help your penile health by the increased blood flow. You can get a free months supply by going to www.Cialis.com There is a coupon there and with a prescription. Depending on the condition of your ED try either the 2.5mg or 5mg daily.

3. The only peyronies doctor I know of in the DFW area is Dr. Gary Price.

4.  Do not stop warfarin!  You might talk to your heart doctor about switching to Pradaxa. It has less side effects and you do not have to go for the monthly blood checks.

Now, Get on the VED exercise ASAP. During the active phase that is the number one help to keep from loosing penile size. I have posted the single cylinder exercise I used in the VED section. Any questions just ask. If personal send me a email or PM.

Hello ,

Thank you for your response. I visited with the Dallas Peyronie's specialist (Dr Gary Price). He prescribed Colchicine .6 mg daily. It is generally prescribed for gout attacks. In the short time I have had access to this forum I have not seen this medication as part of any treatment plan. He also prescribed 5mg Cialis. This is such a tough issue, my curvature is increasing with each erection & the doctors seem to be as bewildered about the disease as I am :-[.
Any thoughts on the:

1. Thoughts on the Colchicine?
2. Where can I order the VED

Thanks

JRM

Colchicine is a anti inflammatory that some doctors treat arthritis with. I have arthritis and can tell you that anti inflammatory's help. I was taking ibuprofen when my peyronies started. It could be one of the reasons my curve spontaneously corrected at about 18 months.

For the best place to get a VED send Old Man a PM. He knows all the good sources at the best price.

Start the daily VED exercise. When your peyronies stabilizes, at about 18 months, then you can determine the next course of action. I have placed an article called Mending Broken Hearts in the surgery section. There you will find the treatments Dr. Milam recommends.  At that time you may want to consider going to Dr. Milam for a consultation.
