My doctor is not an expert - regardless of title.  I spoke to specialist, but can't get in for two-three months.   I'm told the best chance you have is treatment in first 6 mos.  This is 6 mos.   I'm starting to see a huge difference.  I am 35, and left the woman I was going to marry three months ago because I didn't know what to say.   I'm heartbroken, and on a bad path - the path will come to end very soon if no help.  I need help fast.   How can I get Verapamil?   I'm seeing the signs all of a sudden.

I never asked to be a stud - nor thought I was. Now I'm just a dud.   I've lost all confidence.  I've started seeing people again as am heartbroken and lonely, but what do I say?  I can't continue to avoid intimacy.  I'm freaking out. Any help?  I need to start treating asap.   Not afraid to start injections myself if need be.

I moved your post to here, you will get more attention.
Sorry you separate from the woman you was going to marry, it was your initiative? If yes, why?
Most woman will understand an explanation regarding the subject and can be a good support on the way to solve the problem.
Verapamil is not a magic. For some it works, for some not.
Regarding urgency to see a specialist, can you afford to see one privately?
If you will tell us where you are living more or less, we can help you to find a good specialist.

thepickle, can you start by telling us about yourself, your general health, your condition, any treatment plan you're following, etc.?

There's so much info here that the only way the guys here can help is we need to know as much about you and your condition as possible.

Many of us here are experts in various aspects of Peyronie's treatment but we need info from you.

As far as the loneliness goes, I'm right with you. Some nights I actually cry because I so long for the company of a woman. At this stage in my life I never thought I would be alone and it really hurts. So, I've done something that some members here frown upon and that is, every once and a while I get a beautiful escort to come over for an hour and I satisfy my need to be inside a woman. Keep in mind that these are escorts and not hookers. The difference being that escorts love their job, are very clean, and really care about satisfying you. If you want a source for finding a girl to take care of your needs, PM me and I'll tell you where to look.

These girls don't care about your Peyronie's so it takes a lot of stress off your mind.

Anyway, give us some info so we can guide you in treating your condition.

Welcome to the forum and good luck.

Matt,

Using an escort is a very personal decision and I respect both those who agree and disagree for whatever reasons.

Personally, I have no problem with it. Cursed with this disease, I view it as a form of mental and physical therapy where I can see where I am at physically without judgement. Somewhat like going to a sex therapist. I presume you are practicing safe sex and are using a condom.

I really need to know where I am at before I develop a physical relationship with someone I care about. When that happens, that relationship will become my only one.

IhatePD,

We are in total agreement.

I believe the same thing that escorts are a form of physical and mental therapy and a way to avoid the humiliation from someone you are trying to start a relationship with. I employ those girls to help me figure out what positions I can use, how to maintain an erection, and most importantly to be able to be inside a woman and be one with her. People who tell you to just masturbate have no clue.

And, yes, condoms are mandatory.
